Kijani tiptoed away from the hyena and dived into a nearby bush, just inches from the fire. She stood up as tall as she could and looked around frantically for some kind of pathway, then in the distance, she spotted Vitani again. She was leaning over Kopa, Simba's son, and he looked terrible, what was he even doing in the Outlands?. Kijani placed a paw on the sandy ground, looked ahead into the burning flames and sprinted through the thin pathway, fire licking at her fur either side of her. "Vitani!" She called out, "Vitani, wait!" What am I doing? The meerkat thought to herself, what on earth am I doing? She saw the lion get ready to run, "don't run yet, Vitani! Wait for me!"

Kopa looked with an unexpected kind of look in his eyes. "What's that?" He said looking at Kijani.

Nala's eyes fluttered open. She coughed twice and then staggered to her feet. It took her a minute to regain her memory, but then she remembered the fire. Getting Kiara, Tara, and Narana. Seeing Kiara before she blacked out. She slowly made her way to Simba. "Simba." She said while she shook him gently with her scorched paw from running on hot coals.

Tara was so tired and her eyes stung from the smell and heat of the fire scorching the earth, she was looking for Luca but couldnt find him. Kiara roared for Luca and so did Tara they listened for any squeaks or smaller roar's back to them, Tara started to cry and hoped that Vitanni hadnt hurt Luca. Kiara nuzzled her best friend and said "im sure he's fine Tara dont be scared, Luca wouldnt want that he'd want you to be strong" Kiara said as her amber eyes searched Tara's blue one's.

Vitani had left Luca by Nala. But Luca had rolled closer to the fire.

Vitani looked around.

Zira was laying in the tall grass, looking at her daughter with Kopa. "Traitor!" she roared and pounced on Vitani.

Kopa unsheathed his claws and bounced onto Zira. He bit her neck and tried to pull her off. He flicked the meerkat away with his tail if wasn't for that rat they would be gone.

Zira seemed unfazed by Kopa. She barried her teeth inside Vitani's throat fur.

"Kopa! Just run." Vitani said.

"Luca! Where have you been?" Nala asked relieved that he was back. "Tara!" Nala called as she started to walked over to her to tell her that Luca was back.

"Not without you." Kopa hissed. He loved Vitani and he wasn't going any where without her. Kopa scratched at Zira and then rammed into her, bowling her off of Vitani.
