I agree with Firestar and Snowie.
It'd be unfair to add a record for one species, but exclude another.
I mean, imagine you're a bat hoarder. You have a pretty big hoard and all that stuff, traded hard for it, love it, want the record.
Then you come here just to see that someone's bunny hoard is bigger.
Bunnys are holiday pets as well as lions, bats and guinea pigs, but they were / probably will be released more often than the other ones. Drucillas and Toki's hoards are pretty big and yeah, they of course deserve the record, but I mean, come on, we even have records for rarities, for years, so why not for all species?
I don't think we'd need records for months or stuff like that, but adding spots for all species is just fair.
Same goes for the malk pets.
Owls and Spiders will probably become more common than the other malk linearts, so I'd at least give them spots of their own, even if the same doesn't happen for foxes and dogs.
The categories should also -of course- include the spots that already exist for the other species, with that I mean "all", "single variation" and -voting FOR- it now, "litter".
It WOULD make the list a lot longer, I see that, but I don't care as long as it is fair.
