Kiara nodded her head and went after Tara, she caught up to her and Tara seemed to be recovering from the smoke more quickly that Kiara had antisipated. Tara showed some sort of anger and determination in her eyes as she ran faster and faster until they were right on Vitanni's tail.

Vitani paused before she got to her mother, she thought of what the cub had said about being all the same, she thought about what Kopa would think. She turned and ran back, Luca still in her jaws. She laid the cub down next to the blacked out lionesses before she went towards the scent of Kopa. When she saw him she tried to move him farther away.

Shenzi looked up. Rain. That actually feels quite nice; I don't see why other animals mind it. I guess it was probably a good idea to procrastinate in my decision to go back to the Graveyard. She noticed flames in the distance. The lions will probably get trapped in there. Serves them right! But...wait... She sniffed the air. Do I smell a meerkat? Meerkats were small, but they were certainly easy prey. I just hope that this one doesn't propose to me like Timon did once.

Kijani sniffed the air slightly, was that ... Smoke? She stood up and looked around, a thick grey fog was slowly covering their land and crossed over into the Pridelands. A glowing orange fire could be seen dancing across the ground in the distance. The meerkat gasped and was about to run but something caught the corner of her eye, a large hyena was laying against the same termite mound that she'd just been sat by. Kijani squeaked loudly then quickly covered her mouth with her paws, trying not to disturb the hyena. She looked back over her shoulder at the approaching fire, was that Vitani? The lion was carrying something as well, it was Luca! Kijani watched with interest as Vitani dragged the lion back to the largest termite mound, probably to see Zira, poor Luca didn't look too good. Well of course Kijani wanted to follow them, but it would be risky. For one thing, there was a hyena behind her that had probably already heard her pathetic squeak, and the mound would be filled with lions. Unfriendly lions. And then there was the most obvious risk of all, the fire.
