What is the difference between forest and banner?

The forest is on the Faire page, and the banner is at the bottom of your screen.

And you can go to the forest every 30 mins, banners are every hour.

Probably true. I'm glad for it, I'll only miss about 7-8 banners when I go to sleep, not 20 xD
