My idea of RP crashing is just going on to a illiterate roleplay and posting semi-literate to literate posts. I don't think that's rude, I'm not being rude to them in OOC or implying it into my posts. Although it may be rude wanting surprised reactions of RPers...

I want to start a break-the-rules RP(basically, Mary Sues, Powerplay, Godmodding is allowed) for some laughs(everyone laughin') but I don't want it to get out of hand..

It is rude. You are joining a roleplay that you know is not on your level of writing and you may end up in the process killing there roleplay. By posting and going semi-lit on an illiterate roleplay, you are throwing the people off. Many crashers plan on posting a short story for each post, 'just for the lulz.'

Different story is you joined and planned to stay semi-lit but make your posts or the owner asked you to join because they wanted a change of pace, but to me it seems you will be trying to post as literate as you and as much as you can.

There are two kinds of roleplay crashers. Those you join illiterate roleplays with the most Mary Sue of characters, and those who plan to be as literate as possible.

All in all Roleplay Crashers appear to post for reactions and "For the lulz"

I agree. I started rp-ing when I was nine, and some of my posts back then... I'm embarrassed to go look. Thank god that site deleted it's roleplay forum! Okay, I take it back. RoseClan.... T_T

I roleplayed many Mary Sues in my time. I had characters named 'Pink Girl' and 'Blue Boy' who were both Sonic characters with wings that went the whole roleplay "OMG WE GOT WINGS I HOPE NO ONE FINDS EM LOLOLOL WE ARE SPECIAL SO WE MUST HIDE THIS!!!!!111one111"

And I once roleplayed a fox in a wolf roleplay. And in one roleplay my wolf died than came back as a ghost and just howled. <_<;;

Those roleplays were temporary threads on neopets though.

I used to be an illiterate role-player. I was absolutely horrid when I started in 2008. My first post ever was,

Oh my... I miss Storm.^^ Anyways, I redid that post just to show improvement.

He was so large.

Much larger then Dad, which said something. He'd been a pretty big cat. But this, how you say male, did not seem purely cat. It seemed to have... Wolfish features.

No matter. Stormkit, which was the small kit's name, was starving. And the red furred animal had a freshly killed rabbit. It was enough to make any orphan cat drool a little.

But the intimidation was heavy. Maybe she could ju- A rumble ran across the kit's ears. Apparently, even her stomach knew better. Sighing lightly, Stormkit stood up slowly, like an old woman, before slipping out of the heavy brush.

Mustering what little courage was left, the kit slowly walked to the cat before gazing into his bright blue eye's. "H-Hello."

I'd say I've improved. So I guess I'm saying everyone can improve with the right environment. Instead of crashing a roleplay, join one to set an example of what should be done.^^

How does it kill a roleplay?

I roleplayed on wetpaint..my kit supposedly beat the leader and she also had a hidden crush on the leader ;-;
I remember that, I didn't even look.
I don't even want to see that first roleplay EVER again.
Cuz everyone there was a sue/stu. and because my apprentice had a crush on an elder.... I'm so ashamed.

Not going back to Wetpaint for a while.

I have no idea with how literate I am is good or bad for my age. This may not seem like it should bother me, but it really does. >.> I want to know if I need to improve.

It can. By posting way too literate on an illiterate it may throw the people off. They may either ignore you but if you keep up the posts they must just give up trying.

Plus I know how it feels. I once had a really fun roleplay on Neopets crashed when I was in 4th grade. Someone joined our Sonic Roleplay on the open forum (Not a guild) and would not leave. They kept roleplaying Mario and kept killing our characters. We ended up just leaving the roleplay

And on one guild someone joined with a character named 'Magickit' who had powers and could fly and tried to burn down the clan's homes.

I've had a few roleplays on neopets crashed. And let me tell you it's not fun. I've never had a literate person join an illiterate roleplay to crash it, but when I was low semi-lit I felt like crap every time one extremely good literate roleplayer posted.

I don't whether I should laugh, shake my head, or facepalm.

I once had a character that did very annoying things and just screamed. I actually made a person get annoyed and left the roleplay. T_T A lot of my characters were annoying and yelled random things and screamed.

I'm sorry but roleplay crashing is highly rude, expecially if the people are doing there own thing and are following site rules.

Not everyone is a semi-lit roleplayer. These illiterates may be 10 year olds wanting to roleplay or just people with naturally bad grammar. I started roleplaying in 3rd grade and my grammar back than wasn't that good and my posts were short. Why be punished for it when they're just trying to have fun?

Unless the roleplay is full of really rude people or you have a better reason to crash it besides "For the lulz" than I disapprove of roleplay crashing.

It's the same thing as people joining Semi-Lit roleplays than posting one liners.

I myself am semi-lit but I believe that illiterates, though I do not like them, have as much right as anyone of us semi-lit to literate roleplayers.

Reading a RP, right? This person joined, and their character personality was "(name) is not a person you want to mess with"...and that's it. Seriously, people?!?!

^^ This. I hate it when people put (e.g) "growls and bites you" for personality, or "AMAZINGLY beautiful and irresistable so everyone is in love with her! She gets all of the guys because she's pretty."
I just want to put my head though the wall and scream. O_O Is that normal?

I want to start a 'Mary Sue' RP where all the characters are perfect/etc, with powerplay and godmodding, as a humorous RP, but I don't want it to get out of hand.
