"I would go over and talk to her, but I'd get all locked up again..." Takeshi sighed. "I'd look like a total idiot."
"Well, then just go and point-blank ask her out." Dru suggested, and scratched his chin. "It wouldn't hurt."
"Oh-okay..." Turning around, Takeshi wandered over to Victoria and stood by her, watching over Venus. "Hiya again, Victoria. Um, I was wondering..." He faltered. This is the moment of truth. I hope I don't screw up... "Wondering if, maybe, once this whole mess is cleaned up and we can get back to Earth, would you be willing to, go to a movie or something wth me?"

Victoria had been looking the other direction, at her sister, so it sort of surprised her when she turned around to see Takeshi. "O-oh... Hey."
She tried to look calm, though her stomach was full of butterflies. Takeshi seemed really nervous too... which was good... For her anyway. But he looked a little more nervous than last time... Then she realised why, once he got to the point. She felt a hot blush creep upon her.
"Y...Yeah. Yeah!" She smiled. "I'd love to go to a movie with you, Takeshi." She felt her heart beating fast. She knew Dru was going to help her... but like this? How would she ever repay him for this one.

Takeshi got a huge, cheesy grin on his face. "Great! I hope it'll be soon..." His stomach was full of butterflies, too, he wanted to just run over and kiss her but he was too shy. I'm happy though. Thanks so much, Dru.

Victoria smiled, looking into his eyes softly for a moment. She then looked away a little, too shy. "I look forward to it." She replied to him quickly.

"I do too." He pulled a chair up and sat down, just wanting to linger for a second...

Dru smiled at the two and quietly slipped out of the infirmary, leaning against a pillar outside.
"Everything okay in there? Any losses?" A distinctive voice cut through his thoughts. "I hope not, we need the gods more than ever."
Dru blinked in surprise as Zeus, in human form now, put a hand on his shoulder. "Oh, hi. And, um, we've had a couple losses, but nothing too serious. Virgo, I think, and Orion... Venus had her leg almost severed, but Takeshi took care of that."
"Ah, Takeshi. Such a nice young man, I'm really glad for his help. He deserves everything here and more... sometimes I think his heart is even stronger than mine."
Dru considered telling the high god about Takeshi and Victoria, but decided against it. "He does indeed have something special."

Victoria pulled a chair over and sat down next to him also. "So..." She murmured. "Do you know if there are any good movies out?" She asked him, trying to start up a conversation. She wasn't good at this type of thing... not at all. I'm embarassing myself...

((I've always RPd Zeus that way, he's the head of the gods so he needs to have an all-encompassing, powerful voice. Or, that's what I've always thought. :3))
"I want to go see Captain America, or there's this one coming out with Hugh Jackman called Real Steel. It looks so cool." Takeshi was glad that Victoria had started, he was honestly worse than she was. "I'm obviously more of an action fan."

"Well I hope that you and Victoria are having a nice stay up here. Excepting the battle, that is." Zeus smiled warmly and nodded. "I was fighting too, but left just after to see Irene and tell her the truth about her lightning dagger, then I went to see my demi-god children."
"I saw you fighting." Dru remembered the first time he had ever been up here and had nearly died fighting a cyclops. But somehow he had healed spontaneously and Zeus hadn't believed his dying story at first. "I've come a long ways since I first got here."

11 years before...

It was sut after sunset that his mother was begining to cook some noodles and meat.
"Son, come on, its almost time to eat!" Her voice brought warmth in the house and when she heard the feet of her 6 year old son he skidded to a hault and sulleted. "Im here mom!" He was a cute little red haired boy with...mysteriouse red orange eyes. His mother chuckled and turned and knelt down so she was eye to eye and she pulled up her sons sleeve to check if he was still wearing a red bracelet with three black crosses on it. "Make sure you never take this off, understand, Yuki." She kissed his cheek and the boy nodded. "I promise." Yuki promised and his mother smiled and stood up and put some noodles and meat on a plate and put it on the table. "Come, Yuki, come sit down." She pulled out a chair and Yuki crawled on it and sat down. He stared at the empty chair infront of him and he lowered his head. "Dad's never comeing back...is he."
He jumped as he heard his mother drop a plate and she quickly bent down and shook her head. "No, my baby." She swallowed. Yuki blinked and took his fork and began to eat. "Tommarow, can I please go outside...a-and play with the kids."
"..." His mother knew that that wasnt a good Idea, she kept Yuki locked in the house for a reason that she might loose him. But this time, maby he could. "Yes...Yuki."
That morning Yuki ran outside with his mother leaning against the door. She watched as her son played with others and made lots of friends...but then.
6 years later...
"Mom im going to go play outside again." Yuki was 12 now and his mother smiled as usual and she nodded. It was almost dinner time and so he only had a little bit to play. As his mother watched from outside he watched as Yuki was chasing a a girl when one of his friends grabbed his wrist and pulled the bracelet off. Suddenly everything stopped and his mother gasped in terror as blood sprayed everwhere. His mother came running. "YUKI NOOO!" But the last scene was just an outline of Yuki's mother's blood being sprayed everywhere.

Now 17 years old, Yuki clutched his head as he sat in a hight tree. "NOOOOO!!!!"

Sairen was sitting in her small pink chair in the corner of the room, at the age of four, it was acceptable of her to have her teddy bear with her. Her father smiled, slowly moving to sit beside her. "You're getting so big, Ren." That was her nickname, the one that only her father called her. She chuckled, "Some day, I'll be as tall as mommy." He smiled, "Yes, you will be." Her mother, though she hadn't guessed it at the time, had long since past away. Her father always brought a lady from work home, claiming her to be Sairen's mother, just do Sairen wouldn't believe she was gone.
Finally, at the age of nine, Sairen still carried her bear with her, staring at the man she had always called her father. She wasn't sure anymore, since he wasn't ever in the pictures of her when she was first born. "Who are you?" She used to ask him, every day, whenever she managed to see him. "I'm your father, Ren." "No you're not!" She would scream, "I don't know you! You're not my father!"
One day that year...he just never came home, leaving her behind in a large house alone. The woman would stop by sometimes, bringing her food, but she hated her. She hated her fake mother with a passion. She left the house, left the place that she had been stuck at for so many years, never looking back. Leaving it to burn in hell as it should have all those years ago.

Now, at sixteen, Sairen stood at the outskirts of the city, staring up at the sky that looked so much different to her than it did all those years ago.

He was not a boy anymore, he was now a guy lost in a deep dark thought. What the hell happend. It was all just too frightning. He leapt down and put his hands in his tan pants pockets and looked down his hair covering his face he only wished he could remember what happened. He only wished he knew why they screamed. But he didnt. All he could do was wish.
