Kijani watched Vitani walk away into some tall grass, it looked like she was searching for something, probably just food. Thinking that the coast was now clear, the meerkat stepped slowly out of the small green bush and continued onwards. But after she had taken just three steps, there was a loud rumble, Kijani instantly looked around her for any sign of lions, but then realised that it was just thunder. Well that's just brilliant, she thought sarcastically, running quickly over to a tall termite mound. I might as well find shelter before the rain comes, she leaned back against the mound, but this termite mound should keep the rain off me for a while.

Nala looked up and sensed the storm too. "Simba.... Where's Kiara?" Nala asked in a panic stricked voice. She then spun around pride rock looking over the pridelands trying to see if she could spot Kiara.

Kiara, Narana, and Tara had decided to go off and do something while it was raining a little bit, they all loved the rain. The three lionesess were play fighting and swatting at eachother with unsheathed claw's and jumping all over eachother. The 3 lion's fell silent as a herd of impalla grazed in the plains ahead of them, Narana crouched down low and stalked the impalla quietly. Kiara stayed behind and watched Narana who was considered the best hunter of the pride, maybe she could learn a few things from Narana Kiara thought. Just then a giant lightening strike of a flash of blue and orange touched down a few feet from them, the dry grass caught fire and ensnared the 3 lions in a fire barrier.
