“Kopa, I just don’t want you to get into trouble with your pride.” Vitani sighed. She gave Kopa’s cheek a quick lick before getting up. “Your pride is waking, you should get home.” Vitani said before running off.

Kopa nodded and whispered, "Goodbye.." He ran off in the opposite direction back to the where his pride was. He ran behind a rock, near camp, so no one could see him but no one could say he was gone if he was hidden.

Personality: Kijani is a very Tom-boyish kind of animal, and loves to mess about, she is also rather feisty and loud. She chats a lot and there is never a quiet moment when she's around, this can easily get on your nerves. She tries her best to land herself into trouble, she can't help it, and loves to break rules. Kijani can also be quite sly and manipulative when she needs to be but most of the time she is very friendly. Kijani is very loyal and a good friend to have on your side, but if you make her your enemy then she will be your enemy for life. One of her secrets is that she has terrible OCD (Obsessive Cleaning Disorder), she hates anything to be out of place or untidy, not many other people know this secret, though. She has a very short fuse and will snap at the slightest hint of teasing or threat, she gets very aggressive but it doesn't last long. Kijani is often caught day dreaming, she has a big imagination and loves to think about stars, the stars interest her greatly.

Kijani sighed, stepping over a large grey rock and dragging her feet across the sand, it's too hot. She thought, gazing up at the blue sky, the hot sun glared down at her as if it was teasing the young meerkat. Kijani scowled and kicked a pebble, she looked up and watched it skim across the hard ground, then it stopped and lay there. Kijani was just about to walk over to kick it again and continue her pointless walk when she heard a noise, her ears flicked back and she imediatly dived into a nearby bush to hide from whatever she had heard. The meerkat peered out of the green leaves, careful not to make any sudden movements, she squinted her eyes and could just see a small lion cub pacing around in front of her. "Vitani," she whispered very quietly under her breath, Kijani still made sure she watched out for Vitani, the meerkat didn't trust her yet.
