"Really! Thank you Dru!" She gave him a big hug. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you~!" She let him go, smiling ear to ear. "Your a good friend." She giggled.

"It's no problem at all." Dru casually hugged her around the shoulders. "I love helping, it's what we were born for."

Takeshi looked over his shoulder and saw the hug. Drooping, he sighed. Was she just playing with me? She and Dru are obviously very close. Well, I guess she deserves him. He's a lot better man than I could ever be.

Victoria looked over at Takeshi happily, but suddendly her smile vanished. "Uh oh... Dru... Take a look over there." She nodded towards Takeshi. "He looks a little upset..."

Dru blinked. Uhoh. I've really messed up now. "I'll almost betcha he saw our hug and got jealous. He really likes you, ya know."

"Really?" She blushed, her head down put her eyes up. She put one hand on the top of her arm. "Man... Do... Do you think you should go explain it to him... or should I? I mean... I know we're not together or anything so it would be awkward for me to tell him- 'It wasn't what it looked like.' ..."

"I promised to help you. I'll go tell him." Dru put a hand on her shoulder. "Stay here with Venus."

The black-haired kid turned around and smiled a little as he approached. "Hey Dru, congrats on getting a girlfriend again..."
He brought it up?!? "What do you mean? We don't have a thing going, we're just friends. I'm her traveling partner, I guess, of sorts."
Takeshi looked so relieved. "That's good to know..."
Dru stood by the gurney and inspected Takeshi's work wrapping wounds. "You're very obviously distracted. Well, she is too."
"Really?" Takeshi shot a glance back at her. "Do you think I could?--" He looked up hopefully.
"Don't doubt yourself, dude, I think you do have a chance with her."
