Sandfall nearly flinched in surprise at the tone of his voice; it wasn't often that he used this ferocity with her. "Echostorm... Blackstars under a lot of stress with everything going wrong in the clan. Ever since that fox attack and Foxstar dying... Everything going wrong, its like we're destined to destruction. Really, I'm sure he'll come around once he's at least slept. Besides, surely he'd consult some of the senior warriors; we'll have him understand that we do want you in this clan." She flicked his shoulder, trying to reasure him somehow. Due to her uneasy expression, she didn't do this often.

Echostorm turned to the she-cat, an odd feeling of thankfullness washing over him. Slowly at first, then more comfortably, he leaned towords her and rubbed his cheak gently across her own. He pulled back softly, licking her cheak as he did so. "Thank you" he said, his voice mearly a whisper. With that, he turned and padded out of camp, away from the kits he longed to see.

Icepath glanced over at her slightly, knowing she hardly believed him. "Come on, we should rest. Snowbird and Merr are out hunting, so they should be back soon from that. Scarletshade went too, I think." He lightly bumped her side, trotting towards the warriors den with aching limbs. Over his shoulder, he checked to see if the she-cat were following.

(But I have a kit character named Spottedkit who Birdkit could play with! Maybe they could also become apprentices together too? (: )
Appleberry watched him for a second then got up and stiffly trotted over with him. She followed in after him, and curled up in a nest. The soft moss felt wonderful on her sore body and she laid her head down on her paws.

Spottedkit woke up from her little nap and noticed that Blackstar was gone. She had a pouty look on her face but then she remembered that he was the leader so he had lots more to do than just take care of her. Spotting Birdkit, she walked over. "Hi Birdkit!"

Backstar ignored Echostrm as he called out to him, melting swiftly into the darkness. He grumbled and growled to himself, cleary angry. Echostorm had no right to come back to his camp, demanding to lead a patrol to save his warriors and his mate. He knew very well that Kitewing was in danger, but he couldn't be rash. That could end in her death. Even during his short time of leadership, he had matured. He would no longer rush into things when the lives of multiple cats were resting on his shoulders. Echostorm wouldn't understand. It was hard, leading a Clan through this time of hardship when he was knew to all this. There had been the fox attack, some of whom were still lurking, the storm, having to let DarkClan stay, Kitewing giving birth to kits and nearly dying in the process to kill that mange-ridden weasel.........
He honestly didn't know what to do anymore.

'' Hi Spottedkit! '' Birdkit purred and wagged her tail. '' Wanna do something? Maybe we could see the forest '' Squeaked Birdkit mychiveously

Whitefeather smiled and finished mouse, watching Spottedkit and Birdkit play she smiled happily before laying on her back to let the sunlight soak into her fur.

Spottedkit looked at her with big eyes, "With those StrayClan cats out there? No way! They were scary!" she exclaimed. "Could we play moss-ball? And then..." she didn't know what after that, but she loved moss ball.

'' Okay! ' Birdkit replied grabbing a mossball and tossing it into the air. '' Well your right! This is much better than those strayclan cats '' Birdkit replied shaking herself trying to ignore the thoughts from that day.

Whitefeather smiled, finally birdkit was having fun once again after strayclan's attack. She had been having nightmares and wouldn't leave the nursery but not she did.

Spottedkit jumped up and got it, purring. She pushed out thoughts of the cats streaming into camp and being frozen with fear as one advanced upon her. Wishing filled her at the thought of Falconpaw getting kidnapped, she prayed to StarClan that the apprentice who had saved her would come home safe. Sending it back, she mewoed "You bet ya!"

'' Hmm.. I don't awnt you to get mad but what if we search for Falconpaw? He hasn't come back yet! '' Birdkit whispered worried about the apprentice never coming back. But she smiled and tossed the mossball back, happily she wagged her stumby tail and purred.

"You think we could sneak out?" Spottedkit whispered. She swiftly hooked her claw into the moss ball and sent it flying back. Fear made her pelt a little fluffy, the StrayClan cats were scary but Birdkit and her could take them for Falconpaw!
