I count the ways I let you down
On my fingers and toes but I'm runnin’ out
Clever words can’t help me now
I keep you tight but you're slipping out
And I remember your eyes were so bright,
When I first met you, so in love that night
And now I'm kissin’ your tears goodnight,
And I can't take it, you're even perfect when you cry

Are they solitary or do they travel in packs to make looking after them/protecting them easier?
Their face looks very wolf-ish.

yes! they can walk now!
They live in groups, I've yet to decide ranks for them but I'm thinking they care very little for ranks, and it's more like a family... sort of where everyone is brother and sister. I think of monks or... spiritual people, I guess. It fits since they live a very long time. WHICH REMINDS ME I need to figure out aging for them :T I will be working on that.
yeah, deer in general I found have wolf-ish faces, when viewed sideways. When they are at other angles you can see how narrow their skull is, though.
