░♔♚♔░ In the fabled territory of Cloveland, there lived two Kingdoms. Within their own lands, the Kingdoms were peaceful and fair. But attempts at diplomatic relations fell short, and heated fights brewed, deep hatred being formed. Both kingdoms wanted different things, and had different customs. The people and their kingdoms had strong feelings of nationalism, and soon, any former bonds were severed. The kingdoms compete for the trade routes along the mountains, several watch posts being constructed to fight off any and all enemies.

░♔♚♔░ The kingdom of Arin [AH-reen] has always been a peaceful kingdom, but it has never shied away from using force to get what it wants. It can be a polite kingdom, but in the end, the intentions of the kingdom are made clear. A King rules Arin, with the Queen taking the ambassadors position, and the King overseeing more of the military aspect than political relations. A male firstborn is more desirable, and there has never been a time where a female takes the leading position. Princes that are in line for the throne marry women only of royal descent, such as Countesses, Duchesses, and Princesses.

░♔♚♔░ The kingdom of Ubus [eu-BAS] is the rival to Arin. Ubus has a past of being corrupt, but the people hope that under the rule of their new King, that the times will prove for the better (not roleplayed here...)

The Royal Castle is where the Royal family lives. The castle is a lavish estate with its own private gardens and a beautiful courtyard. Parties and masquerades are a regular occurrence, and near the castle are stables and training fields for any of the family to use. Servants live at the castle, but are allowed to visit their families in the lower city. The Castle has a special sort of guard. They have their regular guards and soldiers, and then they have their assassins, that protect the royal family and pay 'visits' to enemies. Soothsayers, jesters, and personal chefs are also employed. Hunting dogs, personal pets, and horses are kept at the Castle. Lady's in Waiting and pages also reside in the castle, more 'companions' than servants. There is also a court, which stays at the castle, but is not necessarily related to the royal family. They are considered 'royalty', though.

Annabella Westfall is a very well-spoken and reserved type of princess. She doesn't think war is the solution to all of our problems, instead she thinks of being rational about this. However, she is not involved heavily with the polictial court.

She often spends hours gazing from her marble balcony, staring at those out-side of the castle walls. Her father tells her often enough that she is too 'delicate' to go wandering round the city because of assassins sent from the other side of the mountain to assassinate her.

Annabell is a bright-spark, learning many things during her youth. She has been overly-clever sometimes and says too much for her own good, that didin't go well with the rest of the students. But still, she treasure's her intelligence and doesn't want to be a girl who does not know anything like some of the worst off town's-poeple.

She is a girl of kind words and gentle actions, but not a man's 'ideal' princess. She thinks of herself being to 'lady-like' or soft, when she just wants to be normal like everyone else in the walls of Arin. She doesn't seem to charm other Knights or anyone else in the court, and she isn't one that can sweep anyone off their feet.

Appearance:
Annabella is smaller that most, being 5'4, give or take a few. She is a girl of a slim figure from the dancing when young, weighing in at about 107 lbs. Her eyes are the probably the most dazzling feature about her, with the deep, warm blue, the teal iris and the paler flecks.

She has an innocent and unique look. Her frame is delicate and fragile looking, almost like it with shatter like glass if you touch it. Her smile is some-what serious or forced, with her lips red as roses sealed shut. Her skin tone is pale, with a very little tanning. Annabella's hair falls down about halfway up her back. It is a natural wavy black as night, that covers her right eye. It is normally let fall down her back, in it's wavy form. It is sometimes tied back in a bun with strands falling over her face or it tied in a platt resting on her shoulder.

She is often seen wearing dresses of purple and blue, with a deep purple or green cloak, with a cream silk inner-linning. Annabella has a straw woven head-band, that is incrusted with exactly three tiny diamond shapes of silver and placed at the front. Her dresses are mostly made from a very fine silk.

Personality:
Adam thinks of his sled as being the war-horse hero than a than the princess's most trusted was of transport, yet he was never granted that position. He loves to be the centre of attention, and spotted by the princes and knights of Arin's royal court. He also likes to be noticed by the mares and his opening of a flirt. Adam is quite the gentlemen and loves to impress the ladies.

History:
Adam was born too a mother and father, both used as War horses in the court, and a pure-bred. Annabella was at his side since his birth, and stayed by his side for the first few weeks of his life. Surprisingly, a small figure leaned over him when he opened his eyes, and when he stood up for the first time. He trusted her gentle and kind hands, and didn't spook that much when she became clumsy. She asks her servants to tend to him when needed bye the court.

Adam's rider trained him since he was independent. It took him awhile for him to learn, but progressively. He was round about the age of two when Annabella's eldest brother named him fit to ride. Ever since then they were riding in the castles private forests and meadows, and letting Adam run free in a the lush field. He was never trained to be a war horse, no, not like his parents. He was a racer in his own mind, and The Princess's most trusted way of transport. Adam had always been fast and 'furious', the title that he received at birth for his head-strong nature.

Adam is a large and muscular thoroughbred, with some handsome features. He is a pitch black horse, with the champagne gene in his eyes, to make them a hazely green colour. He has a feathery mane and tail, a darker shade of black that covers one of his eye.

Personality:
Grace has a calm, caring personality. She is reasonable and hears out all both sides of the problem before making any rash decisions. She is lady like and joyous at most times and has a small temper. The perfect qualities for a princess and soon to be queen. At the few moments she does lose her temper, however, she does not yell or scream. Grace turns icy cold, her expression blank and eyes unfeeling. She speaks flat, the temperature of her voice drops by the second.

On the hand, when Grace is in a truly blissful mood, her eyes light up and a smile is planted on her face. Her complexion seems brighter and voice cheerful. She practically skips around the castle, humming her favorite tunes and greets everyone she meets happily.

When it comes to love, Grace is not the best with it. She cannot tell when someone is flirting or trying to court her at most times. Although when she does, Grace becomes panicked and starts blabbering about random things to change the subject. Sometimes she will try to flirt, although this has never ended well. She ends up rambling of lame pick up lines that some Lady in Waiting told her. Then she scurries off blushing like mad. As you might be able to see, Grace is extremely smooth with the guys (<~ sarcasm xD).

History:
Grace has lived a fabulous life, as most princesses do. Servants tend to her every need and jesters cheer her up when she is down. She appreciates her life and what it has to offer. However, sometimes she gets sick from all pampering and at moments just wishes she could get away.

When Grace was a toddler, she was fascinated by all the different servants and, when she saw them outside of the castle, wondered why they dressed in such dirty clothes. She did understand that they had a different life that her, for Grace was still young then.

As Grace got older, she understood why they dressed that way and was even more fascinated with their lives. When she was ten, she decided to run away for a week and live as a peasant. Grace sneaked out of the well protected castle unnoticed. She had on a black cloak with the hood held up to disguise her face. She only brought money for a dirty inn and enough for about one meal a day. Grace wanted to make sure she could live her week as a peasant as realistic as possible.

During that week, Grace couldn't imagine the distress the kingdom was having. Hearing the rumors of the missing princess going around the village, she was tempted to go home several time, into the open arms of her parents and the court. She had to admit it sounded nice then be practically starved and dirty. The only thing that stopped her was her curiosity.

Grace spent the days of that week sitting on the side of the street or leaning on a wall. She would observe the peasants with eagerness, dazzled of how her life and theirs were so different. The only time she would take a break in to buy her meal or some snacks here and there with the money left over.

One day, while she was standing in line to by her daily meal, a boy in rags went up to her and begged for some money. Grace gave the beggar a sympathetic look and said, "I'm sorry, but this is all I have." She held up one gold piece for the boy to see. Grace saw the ravenous look in his eyes when he looked at the coin and took a step back. She was about to put the coin away when the boy took out a knife and cut her on her forearm.

Thanks to Grace's quick reflexes, the cut wasn't too deep, but it did leave a nasty scar. She dropped the coin and cried out in pain. Tears clouded her eyes but she was able to see the beggar grab to coin greedily and scamper away. At that moment, grace didn't care about her coin. She grasped her arm tightly, making sure to put pressure on it, and stumbled to the inn.

Inside her room, Grace tore of a piece of her cloak and wrapped around her wound. After she was done, she decided it was time to go home. She headed towards the gate and showed the guard who she was. He welcomed her quickly and messaged the other who she was. Grace entered the castle looking miserable. She was starved, tired, dirty, and had a bloody arm, but she still thought the experience was worth it. Sure she got injured in the process, but she learned more about the world around her than she would ever sitting in the castle all day.

That was the biggest historic moment in Grace's life. Some people make the mistake of grabbing or touching her arm were she was cut. Grace then has a flashback of the moment and cries out in pain like it was still happening. The rest of her history was as boring as dust. She learned how to be lady like and a proper soon to be queen, as well as other usual royalty things like horseback riding and ballroom dancing.

Grace has a slim build and naturally smooth, pale complexion. She is about 5'6" in height and weighs approximately 110 pounds. She has brilliant green eyes with long, dark eyelashes. Her dark brown hair flows a little past her shoulders with natural highlights of lighter brown. Her usual outfit consists of long, flowing dresses of different colors and dazzling jewelry to match.

Personality: Valira is very smart, however she often doesn't show it. She rarely says what she wants to, and obeys court rules to the dot. Most of the time anyway. She tries to hide any feeling she may have, such as anger, love, hate, etc. She acts more like a boy than a girl. She is interested in many subjects.

History: She had eight brothers and seven sisters as a child growing up. Being the oldest child her parents often forced her to take care of them. She hates taking care of children, though enjoys being around them at times because of that. When she became old enough to become a page, she did, disquising her gender and going in, acting like a boy. Her family had very little money as well.

Appearance: Valira has her hair cut short (about to the top of her ears). It is medium brown, but has streaks of both blond and dark brown. Her eyes are green, and have golden flecks in them. She doesn't feel comfortable in dresses as she hasn't worn them for a long time, always wearing the simple tunic and trousers of the common men.

Personality: I am usually cheery and outgoing. I can usually provide a positive outlook on any situation. I try not to be a burden on anyone, as I grew up in a large family. I like it when other people smile at me or my jokes, because my parents almost never had a good thing to say about any of us. When people are sad, I always try to find out why, then make them happy again. I like being outside.

History: I grew up in a large family in a small house. We never had much money, and as soon as we could many of our family moved away. Valira was the first, she went to be a knihgt hiding her gender so that she could. Then Liken went to become a healer. None of them ever came back, so when I ran away not many were left at home. Only the ones who were younger than me. My father died when I was little.

Appearance: I am not terribly tall, but I have a muscular build. I have a few freckles on my face, and many more from the sun on my shoulders. I have short brown hair that, similar to Valira's, had darker and lighter stripes to it. My eyes are a pale bule, but sometimes they have bits of green in them. I have a short nose, that is often sniffly because of my hayfever.

Personality: I am more negative than Orian, but I still enjoy a good laugh. I enjoy playing tricks on people who I don't like. I perfer the indoors rather than outside. I try not to find anything wrong with things, but usually I find something. Then I try to fix it. I like fixing things, and I don't like animals very much.

History: She grew up in a large poor family. When her brother Orian left, she followed against his will. Her family history is pretty much the same as Orian and Vlaira's

Appearance: Unlike most of her siblings who got their mom's hair, she got her dad's hair. Her hair is long and red, usually tied back by a green or blue ribbon. Her eyes are green with gold flecks, another of her dad's traits. She is tall and thin, though she does have some muscle and is quite strong. Her skin is fair, with no freckles, seemingly the only trait that she got from her mom.

Bryce is quite reclusive, and usually keeps his opinions to himself. He shows obedience to the kingdom, but not always its rulers. Bryce doesn’t like to get himself involved in politics, despite the fact that his ‘job’ has quite a bit of influence from them. When threatened, he prefers to attack first rather than think a situation through. Bryce is usually found working on his art alone. Also, he is a bit of a night owl, and is usually sent on missions that require stealth rather than brute force.

History:
Bryce has never met his father, and his mother was a peasant. Because of this, Bryce quickly adapted and learned the art of thievery to keep himself and his mother alive. When he was old enough, Bryce went to the castle and demanded to be given a job. He executed the tricks he had learned as a thief, and the head assassin took the boy under his wing to train him. To this day, Bryce sends all of the money he acquires to his mother.

Appearance:
Bryce is quite tall, almost lanky, and lean. His hair is a dark chocolate brown, and shaggy, reaching the start of his jaw line. Bryce has emerald green eyes, lined in thick, almost feminine lashes. His features are strong yet refined. The young man is usually clad in dark, tightly fitting clothing that aid him with stealth.
