Let's call her...Betty.
Nice generic name.

So, at first, me and 'Betty' were pretty good friends. We talked and hung out at school, and I even got her a date with the guy she liked: my aforementioned guy friend, who I also like.
That's how close we were.
They broke up after a day - ALL OF MY HARD WORK WASTED (LOL) - so I wasn't exactly too happy.
But, I got over it.

So, on the last day of school, I was going to an amusement park with the guyfriend (...Bob) and Betty. It started off well enough; picked Bob up, picked Betty up, and we were on our way.
For the whole drive to the park, she was poking Bob in the back of the head, and repeatedly called him 'fat' and 'gay' and 'pale' throughout the day. She also kept calling me 'fat' and 'pasty', and boasting that she could tan without burning, blah blah blah.
She would NOT shut up for the whole day.
I lost all of my friend-love for her.

Then, at Bob's birthday party a few days later, she spent all of the time flirting with guys. And at my party - and this is what really made me mad - she kept hogging all of the spotlight, and flirting with Bob and another guy, neither of whom she really liked.
She was screaming and running around the whole night, and wouldn't let us watch a movie, because she was making too much noise for us to hear the TV.

I am never trying to be her friend.
EVER.

I hate when guys go after the hot-but-pretty-much-brainless-zombie girls.
Why can't they go for the average-looking-but-smart-independant girls, for once? ;^;

Don't forget us awkwardly social ones who have popular friends because she's nice to everyone who returns the favor.^^ And one of my best friends is extremely pretty, probably the most popular girl at me school, and is still smart. I love her, but it pisses me off that she has it all.

Anyways, what is it with me not being attracted to anyone? I mean sure, I have celebrity crushes like Taylor Lautner and Carlos Pena, but nobody normal. My friends try to set me up and say I hit it off, but I just... Can't like them. Female or male. It makes me feel awkward.

Two random kids looked at me one day and said this:
"You like black? Greenday? Piercings? Eww, like we need another useless emo in this world."
And another:
"Your emo? Do you cut yourself?"
All this ^ because I told my best friend I was upset at everything and stressed out, and telling each other what we like/dislike.

Ugh. I never felt worse. Of course I stood up for myself, but the words stay with you.
