Oh gosh. Help me. I got a trade for one of my extra V-day 2nd gens, nothing on my side. Their message was something like: "i red your rules wat do you want for this pet"
I replied saying: "Hmmm, funny. My rules say: "DON'T send me trades that have nothing on your end and tell me to look in your trades!... you NEED to use CORRECT English!"
Yup. Sure looks like you read my rules. "

2nd bad trade today, I got a little flamey. Then I accidently hit accept instead of cancel! *facepalmfacepalmfacepalm* I sent them back a polite trade for it saying: "Warriors. Can I please have this pet back? I accidently clicked accept. Thank you!" Warriors was their code word. I can only hope they accept now!

xD Gingertail's panicking because the Ninja-trading is the DPA's little "secret weapon". It's nothing special, it's just a way of finding people to trade with, really.

Anyways, how's this: I found someone who had some newborns in their trade group, and sent them a trade offer asking what they'd like for it (they didn't have any rules against doing so, like so many other people do. xD) I just selected the newborns I was interested in, and then left a message asking how many they'd be willing to trade, and what pet would they like in return from my Trade group?

They send it back asking for my Eat Me and Drink Me dogs I got from the store- the dogs that were labelled "Reserved for Auction" because I'm bidding them to try and get a friend a Purple Toxic for Christmas. >.<;

I sent it back explaining why I couldn't trade those dogs, then edited her side so that I was only asking for two newborns, and ask what she would like for those, that was in my Trades section, extra emphasis on trades. (And I turned off Trading on that section, just to make sure she wouldn't try again.)

She sent it back again, this time asking for two pairs of Angel wings from my items. -_____-

Finally I cancelled the trade, telling her that I value store-bought items too much to trade them for newborns, since they're bought with real money, and conclude that since she's completely bypassing my Trades section to go digging through my Items and other groups, there must not be anything that interested her there, thanks anyway.

A while later, she sends me a trade this time, asking for one of my cats in exchange for a newborn. The cat looks particularly familiar, and as I'm starting to get suspicious, I open the link to the cat in a new tab- and sure enough, it's the cat I'm using to display the Cheshire Cat Alice in Wonderland costume I'm offering for trade. The items don't show up in the Trade center- probably because they don't get traded along with the pet- but somehow, I find it unlikely that my would-be trading partner knows that. So I say "sure", accept the trade, get my newborn, send her the cat, and keep my items. :/

Hopefully, that'll be the end of that.

Just out of curiousity, does it send a message when you Foe someone? Do they know they've been Foe'd before they try to start a trade with you and it doesn't work?

xD It was a Warrior Cat, an orange tabby one- not sure which cat exactly. I think it was one of the discontinued ones, but still, no big deal. I got one of Mausoleum's Tododag newborns for it.

I declined, explaining that it says in my rules not to send trades for auction pets, and that the people who are bidding on the dragon want it badly to. This newbie proceeds to send a trade for the Halloween Cat and Sock Dog in my auction groups. I cancel, with the same message.

Then they send a trade with *no* message at all (as opposed to how it's other peoples dream pets - really, like I didn't know this? Hello!!) for just the Halloween Cat. I cancel, saying I think they're scamming me and that they really don't run a dream pet adoption center, otherwise they don't understand the difference between trying to politely help someone get a pet, and just being outright annoying - and that I'd like a link.

If it was BRIGHT orange it was Firestar. Pale-ish ginger and fluffy would Lionheart. Than there is Sandstorm who looks like Lionheart but no fluffy XD.
I swear one of this months pup I'm gonna try to stop myself from hoarding. XD I know there's going to be one that I'm going to want to start my first hoard for...
But with bad trades I've gotten a few that aren't VERY bad but aren't good either.
I had one person who didn't read my rules and wanted my red grinning pup. She offered a gray pps sheep dog, black rainbow striped nick horse, black red cream striped rat, orange white common dog, and a red white light brown bob tail. I told her the trade was unfair and she didn't read my rules and she sent another trade which was about the same except she took away the orange white common dog, and added another of the same nick horses and black orange white july 09 dog. =P In my rules it states I do not collect nick pets or rats though.

I was tempted to ask for their Fox-cat Advent, Red X and Red Target September '08s just to see what response I'd get but I didn't feel my Joker Bunny was worth it (I was also highly tempted to ask for their UR Butter-bun). Not that I'd trade her anyway. I had to trade four other hunt bunnies to get my lovely Patty in the first place. >.> <.<

Besides...my Bunnies groups is closed for trades. You'd think that'd be enough to tell people I'm not interested in trading them. Common sense anyone?

I did tell them very politely that Patty was not for trade and wished them luck in tracking down a Joker bunny that they could trade for.

I also got quite a few bothersome trades during Halloween when I bought some skeleton bunnies and Cerberus dogs to auction off. I also got an annoying trade for my Eat Me dog before I got a chance to lock my Alice in Wonderland group too. Most of these were 'Is this for trade?' or 'look through my groups' or 'what do you want for this?' offers too. Silly people. >.<

My favorite of the silly Halloween trades was this one though.

I don't remember the exact message but they were asking about a Cerberus. Something along the lines of 'I'm interested in a 3 headed dog. What do you want for it?' -_-
