Spring Falls farm (Horse RP)

"You can Kourtney I will be the assistent, and for you girls Grace you can Ride Oscar and For you Trouble (Kaylie) you can ride Choley," said Darrel with a big welcomeing smile.

Grace nodded,they'd been here Saturday for the tour, so she'd seen all the lesson horses. She led Oscar inside & groomed him. She tacked Oscar up.

Kaylie smiled & skipped off, grabbing Chloey's halter & lead rope. She brought the mare intol the barn & groomed her. She tacked her up.

"Alright." Kourtney said, heading into the barn. She set up trotting poles & canter poles spaced for Oscar. Then she placed trotting poles & canter poles spaced for Chloey. She'd think about jumps later.

When Darrel got to tacking up he put on his All purpose saddle and English bridle along with a Blue saddle pad.

Grace walked Oscar into the ring. She checke dher stirrup lengths & mounted.

Kaylie led Chloey into the ring. She checked the stirrups & mounted.

"Okay, walk on a loose rein." Kourtney said.

Darrel walked in to the center with Checkers. He had a loose grip on the reins and when he got to the center he walked around Kourtney.

"On the rail, please Darrel." Kourtney said, she turned her attention to Grace & Kaylie.

Kaylie allowed Chloey a nice loose rein, letting her stretch her neck.

Chloey was relaxed, neck stretched.

Grace patted Oscar, she gave him lots of rein.


Oscar stretched his neck.

"Okay what ever you say Miss Kourtney," Darrel said. Then he nodded his head and pulled the rein lightly to right. Checkers was happy to be in the ring she bobbed her head twice and then turned her head to look at Kourtney.

"Posting trot. Do not trot until the horse in front of you has. Checkers can be the lead horse. Stay in your order." Kourtney said.

Grace waited for Checkers & Darrel to trot. She geathered up her reins & sat up straight, heels down.

Kaylie waited for Grace to trot. Kaylie picked upher reins & prepared.

Darrel push his heel in to Checkers side lightly and Checkers went up a gait to a trot. And Darrel followed by rising. "You can start torting now Grace," he said looking forward.

Grace took a deep breath, half-halted by sqeeuzing her insdie rein, to let Oscar know that a change was coming up & then gently nudged him. She rose up in the saddle each time his outside leg swung forward.

Kaylie half-halted & nudged Chloey into a trot. She posted.

"Good!" Kourtney said. "Now, every one line up. Darrel go over the horse spaced trotting poles."
