I padded to the water fall, and meowed, "Starclan! You have betrayed us!" Featherleaf padded up behind me and rested her tail on my shoulder. "We have to go," She mewed. I nodded, calling the last of our clan. "Let all those old enough to catch their own pray join here beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting!" Featherleaf, the medicine cat, Tabbyheart, the deputy, Solareye, and Scarpelt gathered under me. "As you know, the two legs have killed out prey, our clan, our home. We need to leave." I jumped down and padded away. My clan followed.

They looked dazed as they came into a room filled with happy purring cats. They didnt recognize
the clean bars and white room that smelled like lilocs. A human came in and took them all but Mouse. Mouse yowled but Spring said " Dont worry she isnt bad". Then they were led away. Mouse was put into a large cage with silver bars. She stared out remembering the kindness of humans. She and her brothers and sisters had been from a kitty mill until the owner was arrested. Then they had been forgotten until a little boy had let them out and they had streaked for the woods. There they had met horrible situations. Like when Spring had gotten bit by a fox and Water had gotten attacked by a hungry owl. Then when that was bad Solar flair had fallen into a river and snagged his leg in between some rocks. But after Night shade was hit, an old lady had tricked them with tuna to go into a cage and had brought them here. She sighed, when a nurse came and her brothers and sisters in with her. "There you go. Home at the Humane society" The lady said and left. They sighed happily. " My leg doesnt hurt much any more"! Solar lair said curling up sleepily. In a matter of a few minutes they were curled around Mouse, sleeping. She sighed and looked for the first time at their peaceful faces. They looked like angels with the sunset shining on them. She looked out the window at the sunset and slowly she felt as if her world was suddenly turning upright. She turned and curled beside her siblings. " One day ill love someone to" She thought before drifting asleep at last.
