Body position
Head high; tail up; ears up – Dominate stance. Used by the Alpha wolves.
Ears up; tail waving level with back – Alert
Tail tucked; belly exposed – Submissive stance. Used by the Omega and wolves of lower position.
“Bow” – Playful stance
Tail low; body held low – Slightly submissive. Used by wolves when near or going up to the Alphas

Sounds
Bark – Warning or expressing anger (rarely used)
Howl – Used many ways… Cry for help, just random singing, prepare for a hunt, etc. Used to express feelings.
Growl – Back off

Flipped on back; growling; teeth bared – Too far.
Whine – Sad, lonely. Could also be happy or in love.
Sigh – Disgusted, happy, content, in love, disappointed, etc.
