New Trade Rant Thread

People who have like...over 9000 pets of yours on their wishlist.
I hate that. It's like they add EVERY SINGLE CS PET onto their wishlist. >_>

Most people do add every pet, mostly because they want a complete collection :3

Someone sent me a suggestion with the winged rat I've been looking for
to complete our October '10 collection, but didn't add anything to their side.
So I edited and offered some pets, but said to please please please edit
if they didn't like what I was offering, and to even look through locked groups.

And I am terrified that they're going to cancel.

PLZ DON'T CANCEL, RANDOM STRANGER. I NEED U. Dx

They can have that in their rules all they want, if someone sends a trade and it clearly states that they don't want it accepted as it sits, if the person on the receiving end does accept that trade, it'll be reversed by staff.

Ugh! I was wondering how long before the "rare hoarders" griping would start up again.

And do you guys think those SunJewels and UR Cats just fell into those people's laps? You don't consider the possibility that they might have actually *gasp!* worked their butts off searching and building their collection up to the point where they had enough good trade fodder to gain those so jealously coveted pets? D:

That's actually against the rules and is considered a form of scamming - if you see anyone with something like that in their rules, report them, and if someone accepts a trade that clearly was not meant to be accepted (e.g. the message said something like 'no thanks' or 'please edit'), report that as well and the trade will be reversed.

what happens if you say you will accept it and give then a p[rivate pm telling them that they should be careful. And then give them the pet back, is that considered agianst the rules?

You can get a warning simply for stating that you'll accept blank trades that were meant to be edited, whether you actually do it or not.
