Religion/Philosophy: Questioning, exploring Wicca

Hey guys, I don't have a religion, but I have always thought that there had to be some kind of 'natural' religion that was the source of all of them. Now, forgive me if I'm wrong about anything, because I come from an atheist family and none of my friends are religious.
But I have always felt like there are many sources of power in the world, not just from one "supreme god". And also, I've always felt connected to animals(even more so than to people) I sit for hours watching the small flock of chickens that my family has, but I can't comfortably be around people for more that half an hour.
Please don't call me a pyro freak, but lately I have been very interested in fire.
Ancient Egypt is extremeley intrigueing to me; it's not just an intrest, its more of an obsession. I also want to learn more about my Irish and Scottish roots. Sometimes, I feel like i wasn't supposed to be born in the 21st century, or even as a human at all.
I know that must sound really strange, but all of what I've said so far is what makes me feel diferent from all the other kids that I meet. Am I just spewing nonsense? Because this has been bugging me for a long time; feeling so different, but if I'm wrong about bringing this here just tell me, because I don't know if any of this applies to any religion. And I've been having some pretty strange dreams lately, please don't think I'm crazy....
