Jay looked at her shoulder, not seeing a gash on it anywhere. He gave a sigh, slowly and softly laying a hand on her shoulder, before looking up to see her reaction, to see if that hurt her.

Feather pulled away, even though Fly hadn't broken her skin, her shoulder was sensitive and starting to bruise, making it uncomfortable to the touch.

Jay nodded a bit as she pulled away. "A'ight, so that hurts..." He murmured.

Feather nickered lightly and slowly came back to the front of the stall, watching him carfully.

Jay slowly reached his hand up to pat the mare on the forehead, grabbing the dangling lead with his other hand. "What say I run some cool water over your shoulder, hhmmm? That'll probably make it feel better." He said, at Feather.

Feather let out a soft nicker and watched him still, shaking her mane and attempting to ignore her wound. She turned and nibbled some of the food from the feed bucket.

"I'll make it feel better..." Jay said, watching as the mare ate her feed.

Feather stopped feeding and came to the front of her stall, her eyes curious. She watched him, pausing to lip her shoulder a few times.

Jay opened the stall door, looking at the mare. "If you wanna let me put water on it, you gotta follow me..." He said.

Page nickered lightly then followed his, glancing towards the pasture as if making sure that Fly was still in the pasture.
