"Alright... If you mean anything.." Shinjo nodded, and walked over to Taru, setting a hand on her chest, and his eyes glowed. Suddenly, Taru began screaming wildly, thrashing about in pain as new, stinging demon blood coursed through her blood. Shinjo let her scream, and turned, walking away and slipping out of the window, and said over her screams, "Taru will change..." And he vannished, leaving Taru screaming and writhing in pain. It hurt worse than anything else in the world.

(*nods* the quiet, devious one. I luff them so much. XD)

Garrett ran over to her quickly. He didn't know how to feel... Worried? Angry? Relieved? It's what she wanted... right? He tried to soothe her, "Taru, It'll be alright... It's going to be okay...." He told her, but he wasn't so sure himself. Infact, he was scared.

Shinjo's words echoed in the house when Taru fell silent, staring up at the ceiling. "But there's a price..." It hissed. Taru began to breathe again, gasping for breath, and her eyes travelled to Garrett. "I'm... alive.." She choked.

Victoria barely noticed Dru and Takeshi talking amongst themselves. Something about... deer? And headlights? She forced back a laugh as she replied to her sister. "I wouldn't blame it on your laziness, Venus. Everyone had trouble out there today. Look..." She turned around to show her sister her back.

((No, it's not. Everything's overgrown, there's no animals, all the buildings are falling apart, there was a really bad rainstorm tonight so we got nothing done, the place is infested with mice, and everything's covered in cat crap... It's not fun. But we're doing our best to fix it up.))

Venus's eyes widened. "I guess you're right. If it wasn't for Takeshi, who stopped the battle, we would all be much worse than we are. When Hades has a reason to fight, he's a pretty powerful enemy." She smiled at Takeshi, expecting a blush and a thank you, but all she saw was him staring at Victoria...
She instantly got it and began to giggle.

Victoria turned back around to face her. "Yeah, that was a pretty gruesome fight." She replied. "And, I have to admit, It was pretty brave of him to stand up to his father like that..." She said with a smile, crossing her arms, but was confused when Venus started to laugh. "W- what's so funny?" She raised an eyebrow, becoming self-concious.

Garrett heard Shinjo's words again, but dismissed it as his imagination. "Yes... You're alive..." He smiled, instantly pulling her into a hug.

"I think we have a lover-boy over here." Venus began to laugh so hard, she thought she would pass out.

Takeshi quickly looked away and blushed. "Uhh... Do you need anything else, Venus?" He scratched the back of his head and flashed an apologetic glance at Victoria. "Painkillers?---"
"No. I'll be alright." Venus shook her head and tried to get herself to stop laughing.

"What's so funny?" Victoria turned around and noticed Takeshi staring at her. She felt an instantanious blush lace about her cheeks. "Um-" She half-smiled and quickly turned around to face Venus again. "Oh, just be quiet." She muttured.

Garrett heard Shinjo's words again, but dismissed it as his imagination. "Yes... You're alive..." He smiled, instantly pulling her into a hug.

Taru's ears laid back as she leaned against him. "... Why? Why am I still alive?" She asked with worry in her voice. She began to tremble with fear, hugging him tightly. "I should be dead. I shouldn't be alive. This is my imagination, isn't it?" Taru fretted.

This only made Venus laugh harder. "Lover-boy, lover-boy..." She teased Takeshi, and soon his cheeks were redder than his eyes. But it was still odd, he noticed that Victoria was really cute when she blushed...

Dru giggled. Oh, Venus, once you start something like this, you never lay off. I guess that's one of the downfalls of being a goddess of love.

Victoria sighed, "You haven't changed, have you Venus..." She murmured, rolling her eyes and still blushing. "Still the same bubbly, giggly, anoying big sister."

Garrett smoothed her hair gently. "No, your not dreaming... This is real. Taru, your a demon now..." He murmured. "Shinjo stopped by..."
