After about an hour, his mother had made good progress on the dress. Jason watched intently as his mother worked wonders on the dress. It felt magical as her eak hands created such a nice dress. She had almost finished after another half hour. He noticed that she was visibly happier too.

Rose couldn't sleep. She laid awake on the bed thinking.

She finished the dress and frowned. He guessed it wasn't what she had expected. He told her how good it was, that seemed to cheer her up. He told her she could try again tomorrow so she had time to relax. His mom used to tell him how much fun it was to make dresses. She said it was hard work though.

Rose finally curled up into a ball. Falling into a soft sleep.

Jason's mother drifted into sleep. Jason sat and watched her. He was thinking, as usual.

Rose had a dreamless sleep.

Jason went back to his room and watched TV for an hour or so.

Rose pulled the covers closer to her. Then slept more.

Jason walked out of his room and went to the throne room. He sat and and wondered why he had come down. He realized that he had gotten sick of sitting in his room alone.

"You're up late." Rose said as she walked past the throne room and saw Jason.
