If a wolf killed my dog, heck, i'd hunt it down and kill it if I could.
And wolves are practically the most overrated creature on the internet.

Well, I agree with MadiWolf too. Wolves almost always have a reason for the few attacks on humans. They could be sick or starving.

Perfectly healthy wolves have attacked humans before.

A wolf won't just 'come out and eat out', but it can certainly slink around a rancher's house, stressing out and/or attacking livestock.

And this has nothing to do with stereotypes. All of the 'big bad wolf' stories are simply stories, nothing more. Wolves were one of the main predators then, and back when the fables were written it wasn't just "A wolf ate our cow, now I'm down $2,000 for the month," it was "A wolf ate our cow, now my family and I will have no more milk until we're able to scrape up the money after 3 years to buy another one." Hence, on the rare occasion it did happen, the kill was a devastating blow.

Wolves are afraid of humans now. Coyotes were once afraid of humans, too. Things change and adapt, m'dear. It's how the world goes 'round.

I'm still curious-- how is starvation and cannibalism better than a quick shot to the head?

Silver, will you marry me?
And woop17, I don't blame you.

And, you possessed wolf lovers probably had no idea that wolves also kill for sport themselves! For the lulz!
It's called surplus killing. I think. It means that sometimes they hunt down elk/caribou/deer/whatever and then they just leave the body there, not touching it. Oh, and before you get all "BUT ITZ AN OLDD DEER THAT WUZ GANNA DIE ANYWAYS", sometimes the kill is perfectly healthy, not a single problem with it. They also do it to teach their pups sometimes, but that's a different story. It's still Surplus killing, though. Oh yeah, this half-paragraph is in case you think only humans kill for sport.
Nu-uh.

I think all the members need to realize that supporting gray wolf culling for their own good =/= OMG WOLF BURNING HATRED WHY DID YOU BECOME PART OF THIS CLUB IF YOU HAEEETTTTT WOLFS SO MUCH

Just because I think gray wolves do not need saving does not mean I despise the rest of the Lupus genus.

I can agree to an extent^^ Even though I don't like the idea of killing wolves at all, I understand the 'sacrifice of few for the good of the many' view. (about Grey Wolves, not threatened or endangered ones).
