The raven hopped up onto the door handle and sighed. He ruffled his feathers and looked at Azlyn. "You do know what she means by that right?" He asked her. His black eyes looked straight into hers. He smoothed out his feathers and cocked his head.

Nova came back from an unmentioned walk, and noticed the tension in the room, "is everything okay in here?" he said, kindly to both Jackie and Azlyn, he noticed the Raven. great, i don't like the raven he thought, looking at the two girls, Jasmine awoke from her rest and climbed out of the bed, she stretched, and went over to Azlyn, thinking she was Nova, she patted Azlyn gently on the back and began to head to the washroom. Nova was still looking at the two girls for a responds.

Lord Karagon squaked and nipped at Jasmine. "No, can you not learn to knock?" He snapped. He ruffled his feathers unhappily. Jackie heard Nova come in. "Sorry about Lord K over there. A bit protective of me." She shouted. She took in the smel of the soap and other perfumes in the room. The Raven glared at Nova but kept silent.

((sorry i saw the response that they were in the same room together, and Jasmine was the one walking into the washroom, Nova entered the hotel room))

Nova looked pulled the half-asleep Jasmine away from the bathroom door, "sorry Jackie..." he carried Jasmine back to the bed, then sat beside Azlyn, "look, i don't know what happened, but i'm sure we should all get some sleep," he said, then he walked to the bathroom door and knocked, "Jackie, when your done i would like to talk, about what happened while i was out to talk to the Innkeeper..." he said, leaning against a wall nearby the door so that he can hear the response.

Jackie shook her head. The raven eyed Nova and glared at him. Jackie got out and started brushing her hair. "On my way. Love stop that, don't need to kill anyone for leaning against a wall." She said. She could tell Nova was against the wall from the thud, and knew from the ravens attitude toward him he would fight him to the death. Lord Karagon nodded but still kept an eye on him.

"I may have just called myself an idiot in japanese, but I beg to differ, I am not really an idiot," she said to the raven, her eyes narrowed into slits. "And I don't want to sleep," she mumbled, looking away. She wished she could have her own room, where she could be by herself.

Jackie sprayed some perfume and put on her nightgown. She let her hair stay down. She unlocked the door and walked out. She picke dup and raven and nuzzled his beak. He always took this as what it was. A teasing gesture from his playful friend. Jackie smiled and set him on her shoulder. She looked at Azlyn and sighed. Then she turned her attention to Nova.

Nova ignored the bird, if he wanted to, with the large sword he picked up that evening, could clip the ravens wings blindfolded. not to say that he was quite at the point to do so, but its attitude to him was making his half-animal instinct to raise, he looked at the raven through the corner of his eye, waiting for Jackie. when she came out Nova looked at Jackie, "well, what happened in your opinion?"

Jasmine rolled to her side and looked at Azlyn, she could feel her sorrow, she leaned up and looked at the raven, "did you tell the others about your discovery mr. birdy?" she asked, she never liked calling an ancient or sacred talking animal by their names but by their animal, she would call Anne Mrs. Kitty if she met Anne.

Azlyn scowled. She needed to get her mind off of Jackie, so she started humming, no song in mind, just humming. She stopped humming. "What discovery?" she said, her head tilted to the side.

Jasmine smiled, "i can absorb magic, the raven figured it out... that was why your fire ring disappeared the first time." she stood, her smile was infectious...
