He trotted over to Ash and nuzzled her, before surveying the area carefully. No stallions in sight. But he wasn't as nervous now that it was summer; the mares were out of heat.

She tossed her mane, tail swishing back and forth as she grazed. The sun beat down on her, her pelt glistening with sweat. She knew the watering hole had shrunk drastically and only hoped that it wouldn't dry out completely.

Comet trotted up to Senja. He looked at her before he spoke. His black pelt was also glistened with sweat from the blazing sun though it didn't effect him at all. "I'm glad you decided to stay." he nickered to her.

Shady also noticed the diminished watering hole and wondered if it was going to dry up, but she stayed silent. It's the lead mare's job to move the herd for food and water, she thought, so she continued to graze until shw was full.

Goldie watched the clouds move across the evening sky and looked around at their new location. It's nice here, she thought, there's lots of grass to graze on, and lots of water in the stream. It'll be nice to spend the summer here.

Zorin noticed how Goldie was looking around and sighed in relief. She didn't hate it. Zorin grabbed a mouthful of grass and chewed.

Ash nuzzled Pozar.

[Okay, so Comet snaked Goldie because he got mad at her for interfering in the fight between him and another stallion, but Zorin rescued her. Goldie joined his band, and Ash has been stalking Comet's herd because she was bored. But he left her alone. That's basically it.]

Goldie tottered over to Zorin after a moment of exploring. "Its beautiful here! How did you find it?"
