Comet had chased a wolf off but quickly returned to his herd making sure there weren't any stallions near to try and steal any of his mares.

Dahlia opened her eyes from her sleep and trotted out of the cave. The mare then started to graze.

[I think today is the fourth day for spring to last, so I guess we go to summer tomorrow.]

I galloped over to where I saw Comet and watched. I wanted to know how a true herd works; I'd never really been in one. I was hidden, but he could probably smell my heat scent. I absentmindedly swished my tail, then winced. Hopefully, he didn't come after me. I trotted to where I was more concealed.

Comet could smell a mare but didn't see her, he looked around again, there weren't any stallions around him yet, so he wanted to know why the mare was hiding herself, not knowing it was Ash. He then looked at his mares before trotting closer to them, mostly at the back so he could make sure nothing could sneak up on them.

Goldie followed Zorin easily once he freed her from Comet. He was a nice stallion by the looks of it. Once he had moved her to where they were safe, she built up her courage and went over to talk to him; Thank him for how he helped her.

Shady saw Dahlia and ran to her, "Dahlia, I heard Goldie scream. Something must be wrong."

Niegh Misty smelt a stallion close by she did not know who it was but she thought it might be comet

Zorin turned to Goldie. "Are you alright? I'm so sorrry. If you want to leave, go ahead."

Dahlia looked at Shady, "And when did you hear her?" she asked the other mare stopping her grazing.

Comet decided to graze again, since at the moment, there where no threats to his herd.

Ash trotted to the watering hole. It was the last day for her to be covered for the whole year, and Pozar hadn't covered her. All the others probably had been. Ash shook her mane.

Comet spotted Ash near the watering hole. Though he continued grazing, he watched her. He knew if he tried to approach her, she would take off, probably back to Pozar.

"Just moments ago," Shady answered, "I really hope she wasn't caught up in the fighting."

Goldie was a bit surprised, "Leave? I came to thank you. I realize now my stupidity and your kindness by rescuing me is very much appreciated. I wanted to tell you that. As for leaving, I did not announce joining Cavalia's herd. I am still haremless for the time being."
