Sure enough, Dib did get himself killed. Well, not really. Johnny stopped once the footstep-like noise stopped, then came Dib's horrible shriek of terror, "ZIM! What are you-WUAAAAAGGGKK!!" The boy shouted as another, inhuman shriek followed by loud thumps were heard, then a squelching as something left the scene. Nny chuckled darkly and looked at Wolva.

(I'll give you three guesses as to what just happened.)

Her ears pricked for any new noises, Wolva grinned, sharp teeth glinting in the half-light. "Wanna get into another fight?" she growled, feeling the maniacal energy starting to return to her. Something about this world.... It seems to be letting my darker side have more and more free rein. It's kind of nice..... she thought, her claws extending.

Johnny took out his knives as an answer and slowly crept up the bend, toward whatever just took Dib hostage. The squelching sound came again, leaving what looked like a trail of slime and ink on the ground.

Creeping up the bend alongside of Nny, Wolva was grinning insanely, taking far too much pleasure in the hunt. Smelling a horrid scent from up ahead, she wondered what was in store for them at the top of the ramp.

Johnny turned around once they reached the next level. The bend didn't turn a complete 180 degrees, more of a 45. There, on the next level, was the thing that created the ink trail; a banana-colored, giant, squid-like demon-thing. In its fist-like tentacles was Dib, all wrapped up like he was covered in spider silk. Zim stood off to the side, just watching.

Ooh... Banana-squid.... Wolva thought, wondering if it would taste like a cross between calamari and a banana split. I would try that..... And who, or what, is that little gree-- Oh! That little a**hole from the Mastermold! Growling, she bared her fangs at the alien Dib had called 'Zim', intent on at least maiming him for gassing her.

(Still controlling Zim? Sorry if it sounded like I just took over there.... )

Johnny flipped a knife around in his fingers and watched the demon-squid slowly squelch along, going up another bend as if it wanted to reach the top. Nny suddenly threw his knife at the back of the things head, and it roared as the knife hit home. It whipped around and tossed Dib at the maniac, but the boy hit the ground before it even reached the halfway mark.

Waiting behind Nny as he threw a knife at the squid-demon, Wolva darted forwards as it released Dib. Slipping past the humans, she attacked the squid-thing, claws flashing in the dim light. She didn't even notice other things starting to emerge from the shadows above her.....

Nny used his other knife to stab the squid-demon once it reached Wolva. It was much easier to cut than the Dremora, since this didn't have extremely thick armor and no bones. After a few well-aimed hits from Wolva and Nny both, the thing fell over in a puddle of its own blood.

Grinning insanely as the squid fell, Wolva speared a chunk of the flesh on the tip of a claw. Nibbling at it, she was disappointed at the fact that it didn't taste like banana at all. Ah well.... Remembering the alien, she growled, loping up the pathway after his scent. Must...kill!
