These mini drafts thrive deep in the mountainous alps, traversing snowy and rocky terrain with ease. Their short and stocky stature allows them to balance well and keep their footing. With large forelocks covering the majority of their face, one has to wonder--is it to protect their eyes from going snow-blind, or is it covering up something that should remain a secret? Their elusive nature from humans in the wild has made them difficult to tame. Regardless, some have been domesticated over the centuries, while the rest still roam the mountains in herds or strike out on their own.
