Jhaiz nodded. "I just-" He paused for a moment, wondering. How did she know my name? She must be a mind-reader... He felt a sense of openness. Jhaiz gave a tiny shake of his fur then looked up. "I just wanted to let you know I'll be staying here. Is there any rank you'd like me to have?"

Shadow let out a happy breath. Another wolf joined Shadow Pack. She smiled and nodded. "We have most every rank open, you may choose which. Whether it is hunter, fighter, or scout- it is your decision. Take your time, and let me know what you choose." She told him softly. As the rain started, she headed to her den for cover.

Jhaiz flicked a drop off his nose. He nodded quickly then sprinted back to the healer's den. Shaking his fur carefully, he padded in. Then healer glanced at him quickly. Jhaiz skirted the other wolf and settled in his nest.

Tayenta watched Jhaiz curl up. She watched his wing, inspecting how it flexed slightly as he circled. She looked outside, gazing at the rain. She licked her paw quickly and shuffled her wings.
