Riko nodded, " Okay." She howled rather loudly.

Shadow nodded as they neared where Zodiac had been left.

"They will know." She answered as they neared the meadow again.

Tayenta padded along, her tail dragging. Her jaws ached from carrying the bundle of berries, but she was close to camp. At last she pushed into the back entrance of her den, slipping quietly past the hurt wolf and setting the juniper berries down. She began to gently place each berry in the proper crevice.

Jhaiz opened his eyes. He glanced around and spotted the healing wolf, sorting plants. Jhaiz sighed and shuffled his hurt wing slightly. He gingerly stood. The healing wolf turned around, her eyes widening. "You should be resting!" She exclaimed quietly. Jhaiz snarled faintly and peered out of the den. "I must talk with the alpha." He growled, then slowly stepped into the clearing.

Shadow approached the end of the meadow, where the slope began. She sighed and made sure her pelt was brushing with Zodiac's

Shadow entered camp through the hollow tree with Riko and Zodiac. She headed for the kill pile
