Well,I have a similar problem
Me and my cousin are very close when we see eachother, and when I'm near him I feel this warm sensation. He is funny, understanding, able to protect me,but with all this he still has his flaws, but he is exactly.... my type [/shyness] I don't get the feelings of butterfly in my stomach and all others, but I would die if something happened to him.Tought,I see that he doesn't feel the same for me * le sigh*

Well, it is your cousin. I used to get the same feeling around mine :)
I think it's more of an "I love you, don't do anything stupid, you're like my brother" kind of thing. It may not be love love. It happened with me and mah cousin from Texas, I don't think it's what you think it is. And if it is, it will most likely pass.

I'm with Swiftystar on this one. ^^" Completely. She said everything I was going to say. I can't tell you I've ever felt the same way about any of my cousins though because.. they're all in their thirties, forties, and fifties. *-*

I agree with Swifty as well X3. He is your cousin, and your feelings are probably more along the lines of family love. It is hard to distinguish these different "love" feelings sometimes.

@Dreamfrost ~ lol, all my cousins are older too. They are all mostly in their 30's or late 20's.
There's a truly terrifying notion that resides today. People have forgotten what it means to be human, to be compassionate to each other. When fact is regarded as fiction, and fiction as fact, how can anyone even begin to come to common ground? Sit down and talk. Listen to someone's story. You'll begin to understand we all are much more similar than you realize.

"Then you will die stupid."
"You don't understand. You will never understand."
"I don't understand? Are you kidding me? Me? Of course I understand."

Yup, yup! I'm with Swifty as well!
I'm sure it is just a very strong, family love, such as a brother.
And boys are like that.
I love my brother so, so much, but he never admits it.
I know he does love me, though.
So don't worry, he does love you very much, I'm sure.
He's just a boy, and boys tend to act tough. ;]
I hope that our advice helped!

I have a slight problem.

I personally don't think dogs should be allowed on the furniture.
So, the thing is I finally earned myself a dog. I'm in a house of six people and three dogs. The dog is mostly mine, I have to take care of her and train her. Although it was decided that I choose some rules she has to follow,(within reason) nobody seems to be enforcing one of the most important ones. I think she should stay off the furniture, considering there are six people that may want to sit down. Anyway, the thing is my father and I are the only ones who tell her to get down. The other four even act like the dogs are babies, they're not, they are dogs. Not people. They allow her to stay on the furniture. My mother will laugh when she jumps up on the couch and I go tell her to get down. It's not very funny, I'm trying to teach the puppy....how is that funny? I know I am suppose to train her, but there are five other people in the house, they will affect the training process. How can I get them to keep her off?

I, too, have 2 dogs that are not allowed to get on the furniture.
Everybody enforces this rule, though.
It must be quite hard to deal with the dog on the furniture when everybody allows it to get up.
The way I got my dog used to sitting on the floor, was to sit on the floor with the dog for awhile,
then later get on the couch, near my dog. I would pet him with my feet on his favorite spots, or 'tickle spots'.
Eventually he would lay down on the ground and not try to get on the couch.
So I'm not really positive of any other ways.
This is just the way I taught him to.
Hope this helps! :]

Hmm, I've never thought of doing something like that. I'll have to try it out.
She's about 3 months and she's a border collie. Not to mention, full of energy and she can't sit still unless she's asleep.
Would it still work then, would it matter if I had to play with her?
I think she would just run off somewhere else if it's not something fun.

Okay, Keisha I've never made a dog stay off the furniture but I know of ways that can help. What I would do is everytime your puppy gets on the furniture just simply pick her up and set her on the floor, and just do that everytime the pup gets on the furniture. Then eventualy the pup would learn that it wasn't aloud on the couch.

Yes, I'm sure playing with her would work, too.
As long as you're on the floor with her, she probably won't feel alone.
I think that's why my dogs wanted up on the couches, anyway.
Because everybody else was on the couch. :3
I dunno though, your lil pup may be different than mine, ya never know!

I do that already, and tell her down. Thanks though :3
I'm having problems with it because everyone else is letting her on the furniture. I either need to teach her faster, or convince four people to not allow it.

Playing with her should keep her occupied then. Thanks, I'll try it out and see if I get any progress.^.^

Yeah, she goes on it when nobodys on it...
She was born on a farm and didn't have much contact with people. She has gotten use to us, we're working on her interaction with strangers though. She always hides >.<
