Ace reared a little bit but claimed down a little, and nodded she looked at the other mares and at blaze she wanted them all to be safe.

Tamar and Amira came running out in the open. They ran past Senja. They then past Comet, Ace and the two other mares. The cougar bolted after them. Its fierce amber glazed when it saw the other horses but continued to chase the two young mares.
Cavalia bolted toward the cougar. His powerful egs soon had him beside the cougar. He shoved the cougar to the side.

Comet ran towards the Cougar also. When Cavalia shoved it to the side Comet was able to hit it with his hooves as he ran after it.

Tamar and Amira stopped and watched. The cougar lashed out at Comet angerily. Its eyes flickered between Comet and Cavalia.

Cavalia reared up and struck his hooves into the cougar's back. Hatred filled his eyes.

Ace stayed close to Blaze, Wings and seven.

Before the cougar could try and run, Comet reared landing all his weight on the cougar. He snorted ready to do it again.

The cougar thrashed a little bit. Then as Comet hit it, he hit its head and the cougar died.

Cavalia turned to Comet looking angery. "You should watch over your mares more carefully. You should always keep an eye out for them. Tamar and Amira could have seriously been hurt."

"There not his mares" Ace whinned and pinned her ears back at the other stallion

Comet snorted. "They aren't my mares....yet." he said to Cavalia returning the stallions angry gaze. He didn't like being told what to do at all by anyone.

Amira looked at Comet sadly then turned to Cavalia. "She's right. I'm not his mare. More than likely I will never be." She turned her back on them and trotted into the cover of the trees. Tamar glared. "I belong to no stallion and I never will."
