Stormkit mewed and watched her go, seeing the rain outside. He didn't feel like going into that, he didn't even know why water was falling from the sky. He worried about Petalkit but hobbled over to his parents and curled up at their feet.

Petalkit felt the water drip onto her nose and head. She frowned and tilted her head, then sighed and looked down at her paws. She didn't like whatever was happening with the sky and the water, but it was better then her parents fighting with others.

LeopardFang liked the rain, she liked the coolness in the air, and the soft dribble of water on her pelt. She mewed happily and tried to catch the rain drops in her paws.

Silverfur licked Stormkit comfortingly, then looked back at Fallingheart. "Stormkit won't hurt Petalkit. How could he? He's just as young and is just trying to make friends."

Graceheart sighed. "It's not that. But Sormkit seems to distract Petalkit and we want her to grow up around us."


Petalkit padded up to Leopardfang, grinning.

Redpaw sat down, bored. He was the only apprentice. He saw the kits, he was about 2 moon older than them. He saw nightshade. "cool thanks! a warrior.. awesome! i just turned an apprentice." he grinned boldly

Stormkit couldn't help but feel like it was his fault Petalkit was sad. He didn't know what he had done. He whined and closed his eyes. He didn't like her being sad. He looked up at the cats, lowering his ears and mewing. He crawled to the entrance and looked at Petalkit. He looked back at Silverfur and turned to lick her back paw, then turned back to watch Petalkit.

Lemurclaw nodded. "He's a friendly kit, and he can't help that. We know you want her to grow up with you, but she has to meet others too or she'll be secluded and shy."
