My cousin is in serious trouble. Again. I didn't find out until last summer when we went to visit him because he couldn't come see us. Now the whole subject is taboo, yet every time I'm NOT in the room, without fail, they'll mention it. Not knowing what's going on, I'll come back, and ask a question about it. Response: " ......" (a long, awkward silence). THEN THEY CHANGE THE SUBJECT!

It was like this when my step-cousin died, I didn't know she was dead until I saw an e-mail in my dad's Inbox that was a receipt for a plane ticket to Houston. Also, they signed me up for an SAT prep course without even letting me know until the day before the first class!!!!!
