Bird stared out the window, eyes fixed on nothing in particular. Genesis had slept on a small couch that lined one wall of her small living room, and still appeared to be unconscious.
Bird closed her eyes and glanced back toward the window. She focused on her thoughts, speaking to herself. "Raikou... once Genesis wakes up, I will escort her out, and then we can leave. Rush is ready as well."
Raikou sat within the trees, surveying the city before him. Then, nodding, he replied, "Alright."

Genesis eyes fluttered open, not remembering what was going on. she sat up, looking at her surroundings in Bird's house.
what happened..... she thought, trying to remember what happened last night.
You obviously passed out, smart one.
Genesis gritted her teeth at that last remark.
You really dont like to get along with me, do you?
of course I can get along with you. but my friend, that would be too boring.
Ignoring cresselia, Genesis looked over at bird.
"Bird..." She said, and looked down.
"Im sorry for getting in your way, and all..."

I mean, I wasn't going to leave you alone at night when it looks like you don't have any other place to go." She smiled. "I am going to leave soon, so feel free to make yourself ready to leave."
Rush sat at Bird's feet, fixing his eyes on Genesis. His feet were parallel to each other, and his frame was placed properly in a neat shape. He was still unsure of this girl's intentions, but wasn't going to let his guard down in case she intended to hurt Bird.

"alright, I'll get ready, then." she said, and picked up her backpack off the floor.
Genesis smiled again at Bird, and said "thanks for letting me stay, Bird!"
Genesis' ankle felt fine now...It didnt hurt. So she was able to walk.
She sent out her persian, who instantly jumped up on Genesis, and started licking her face. Genesis lost balance, and then fell to the floor.
"He's...A little jumpy.." Genesis said, as persian continued to lick her face.

Bird giggled a bit. It was nice to see that some Pokémon and their trainers could get along so well. She patted Rush's head, then walked over toward the others to help put away the blankets and pillows she had set out earlier. "What do you plan on doing after this?" She asked, curious.

Genesis put Persian back in his Pokeball, as she wiped cat spit off her face.
"well, im really not sure... Probably gonna go find.." she said, her voice trailed off.
im not sure...could i tell this girl about cresselia? She seems trustworthy...

She looked up at Bird. "probably gonna go find Cresselia. Shes been in my head, but ive only met her once...I know where she is, Just thought she needed some company.." Genesis said, rubbing the back of her nervously.
"so..yeah... how about you?"

Bird stood frozen. "Wait... what?!" Genesis, this girl... had a Cresselia? Or was she one of the legendary trainers...? She turned around, stepping up to meet Genesis eye-to-eye. "You... You are one of the legendary trainers?"

"would you like to meet cresselia, with your legendary, then?"
Genesis then looked down at her feet, with nothing to say. She doesn't like talking to people, and she has a shy personality.
Well, trying to make a friend, are we?

Bird nodded, then managed to laugh. "I suppose we're two in the same now, then..." She paused, then finished tidying up what remained. She beckoned Genesis to follow her outside. Locking the door behind her, she continued. "We- I... I could travel with you for a bit, if you don't mind. I've... never had a real friend," she admitted. "Only Rush."
