Daniel closed his eyes once more at the second kiss, shocked. He didn't look up or pull away. It was already past that. He felt drawn to her, as if she were a beacon of hope in a maze of horrors. He felt his hand grasp hers and pull her slightly closer. He almost fell out of his wheelchair, making him have to draw away. He looked into Ali's eyes and sighed in happiness.

(I got my mom's sense of metaphors and idioms. DX)

I stood and whipped my eyes off with my sleeve. He was nervous I could tell, but the question was would I tell him about my 'power'? I glanced at him running his hand through his hair, no, not yet anyways. I didn't want to upset, well not upset but more like make him any more nervous than I already had. "Sure, some food would be great. Thanks. And you got the saying wrong it's sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me." I said with a tiny laugh. Then Dray had to go and ruin it all, but as I was some how able to ignore him.

James
He laughed and followed her to her room. He carefully paid attention to which room she stayed in. He sat down on the edge of the bed and waited patiently as she got her supplies. When she brought the notebook he waited while she opened it. He was shocked at the detail of the first drawing in there and even though he wondered where such an idea for a drawing like that could come about, he was shocked that she could draw so well. "Wow Zara! These are... Are... There are no words for it!" He said with his eyes still fixed on the drawing.

Amy
She happily grabbed Jay's hand and started down the hall. "This is perfect! So many people have been freaking out lately Smiley must be stressed! Let's go cheer him up on the way." She spilled her plan to him as she pulled him down the hallway. She wasn't sure how happy Jay would be about this but she didn't care. At least she had a friend with her to help.

I blinked slightly startled when Amy grabbed my hand, and then shrugged inwardly. Whatever. I listened to her plan, not totally sure about it. I didn't like Mr. Smiley, I wasn't scared of him or anything, I just didn't like him. He was a jerk to say the least, and rather creepy in my opinion. "Um alright." I said hesitantly.

what is her plan by the way??))

Zara nodded.
"Thank you. I've been sketching since I was really little. All my dreams. I've had six notebooks and two drawing pads. All filled save this one." She whispered, turning each page. She stopped on a page and sighed.
"That's the last one." She said. It was a lie, of course, for the next picture was that of James and his father.
"Here. I have an extra notebook in my drawer. You can use it for your sketches." Zara said, smiling. She closed her own notebook and then opened it again to the last page.

James
He smiled and took the notebook eagerly. "I'll never be able to draw as well as you." He told her. Grabbing a pencil he said, "I can only draw flowers well." The pencil seemed to move across the paper on it's own as he drew a small rose on the paper. "And even then," He added holding the paper up so Zara could see. "I'm still not as good as you."

Odysseus

The leaves in the tree above Odysseus rustled and he looked up from the bunny outline and who should he find, but Madi's eyes staring down at him. "Aaaaaa!" Odysseus screamed and fell backwards.

"It takes practice." Zara smiled, taking the rose sketch.
"Today I'll show you to sketch freehand, and minor shading." She instructed.
"Freehand is just when you sketch, just like a doodle. You do not really raw circles and lines then erase them while adding detail. You just draw."
Lightly she took a pencil, touching it to the paper. Slowly she sketched a wild poppy, it's leaves and petals taking on very little detail. Slowly she showed him ho to shade and curve the lines exactly to match the real poppy. She then showed him how to shade using light.
