As for the Malk Smilis, I've seen quite a bit of people with them. Maybe in the future it might.

I'm actually hoping that the entire '09 Staff Litter will go rare at the same time.
The Shima and the Malk Multistaff have a very high demand, and people hoard them. [Maybe they were the hardest to find of their litter; I hadn't been on CS then, but I've seen hoards of them.]
I had a very hard time finding a Shima for trade; eventually I was lucky enough to get it from a quitting user.

Yes, I owned the one in the middle, got him in mid-February and he was definitly already VR.
