She snorted in pure outrage. Would he back off already!? Wasn't it clear that she didn't want him? Why want a mare who doesn't want you back? She thought angrily. She glanced back at him. "Whatever makes you go away faster," she retorted.

"And your answer would be, nothing." Comet said in persistence. Her independence just fueled him more as he continued. Such a beautiful mare she was and he wasn't going to let her go that easily.

She skidded to a halt and whipped around to face him. Her eyes were narrowed, hooves planted firmly on the ground. She just glared at him, daring him to make a move.

Comet halted almost running straight into her. He stood there looking at her. Her glaring at him told him that she dared him to make a move though he didn't. He only spoke. "Your independent, and I like that." he told her.

She snorted, taken aback. There was a pause, before she leaned forward, her face now only inches away from his, electric blue eyes like shards of ice. "Well, following me around isn't getting you anywhere. The only way you're getting me into your herd is by snaking me..." Well why did you tell him that? You stupid idiot, She scolded herself silently.

"You also speak your opinion without sugar coating it too." Comet continued and thought about snaking her but what would that do. "All you would do is leave when I have my back turned so what's the point in that." he said to her. He wasn't some greedy old stallion like most. He wanted to pick out his mares and choose carefully. And this one seemed to fit his perspectives very well.
