✧ Prompt: Pawla remembered when she was just a kit working on crafts with her grandma and had the sudden urge to make something for the tree. She went and dug in her box of interesting things she gathers. Some is just a neat looking pinecone, or a leaf. She might find a pretty ribbon, but all of it are things she wants to find a use for because they make her happy. She pulls out a small, hollow gourd. When she was younger, her grandma would make bird houses out of them stating that she preferred mice instead anyway. And that the birds needed a place to live too if they were to stick around to be hunted. Pawla shakes her head to bring her focus back to what she wanted to do. She sets aside a small basket that she fills with the gourd, some glue, color paper bits and a small canister of glitter one of the two-legged ones had lost. Taking it all to her table, she begins to glue the colorful paper to the gourd in fun patterns like paper mache. After that, before the glue finishes drying on the paper, she sprinkles glitter on to make it even more fun. Setting it aside to dry, she goes to find a pretty ribbon to hang it with. When it's dry, she ties the ribbon around the stem tightly and goes to show off her creation to her friend Janet before hanging it just above eye level on the tree for all to see. She's quite proud of her work and happy to have an ornament she can use year after year to remind her of her grandma and their fun times. After all, Christmas is a time for many things and one of those is family.

✧ Prompt: Since their clan is located on a beach, I like to think Pixie likes to collect shells that wash up on the shore. She's got an entire hoard somewhere, probably. They live near a forest as well, so perhaps some roots and/or vines tied around part of the shell would work as a makeshift string. I could see her favorite shells for the purpose of ornament making being those long pointy spiral shells. Pixie kind of thinks they look like icicles, which seems just perfect during the holidays. Some she leaves plain, but she's picked up the habit of making paints using plants and water from Sparklesky, and sometimes she'll paint the shells. Or she'll let some of the clan's kits paint some.
