You stumble upon a valley of ruins, long forgotten by time. Scattered at your feet are bones of varying sizes, the remains of beasts that used to roam here. You pick one up and hastily run in the opposite direction, not wanting to meet the same fate as the creatures that once called this place home.

Sneaking through a dimly-lit corridor, you hold up your teleportal for some light, casting shadows across every inch of the walls before you. You heard that there might be dangers here, or monsters, as the tales tell, which sends a chill up your spine at the very thought. It’s quiet, unexplored, and all of the things your tutors told you not to run head-first into. Anything could be lurking, you think, tensing up as you turn the first corner to your right and–

Oof!

Your teleportal clatters to the ground and you fall back on your rear, letting out a shrill noise in surprise. You notice there’s someone else in front of you, which at first you are quite sure is one of the nightmares you feared to encounter… until a paw reaches out to help you up. Just another Gryphian, it seems, who offers to team up with you to explore. Will you let them join your party? It might be a safer bet…

During a routine supply run, you catch a glimpse of a strange pearlescent sheen in your peripheral that shimmers out of sight. Cautiously, you move forward to investigate the source. No one knows how it’s created or where to find it, as it can manifest anywhere seemingly out of thin air, but it’s unmistakable when it shimmers back into view. Universal polymer, a rare and mysterious element for its use in... well, most applications, per its name. You quickly take out a container and snap it around the shimmering space, trapping the polymer inside. For a moment, you're sure that this is all a dream... but no, you're holding something special!

Exploring the ruins of a long forgotten cottage, you brush aside the layers of dust upon entering the door and take in the withered decorations around the room. Out of the corner of your eye you notice a cracked wooden drawer, intrigued you walk over and peer in to discover 20 Sprockets! What an odd thing to leave behind…

For the rough-and-tumble Gryphian looking to make a statement, these spiked bracelets certainly are fierce! Arguably, they pair with any outfit to give you a bit of an edge… at least when it comes to fashion!

Looking upon the dilapidated framework of a massive structure before you, it is evident that this building was once something of great importance. You notice some sturdy boards in the wreckage, and pick up a few select pieces of wood that might be useful for a future project.

Delving deep into the wreckage of an old fortress, you go room to room looking for any last remnants of loot. It is mostly picked clean, but inside one of the rooms you stumble upon a box with 20 Sprockets still left inside!

You stop at a waystation to buy a snack at a market stand when you realize that you left your wallet at home! A nice local Gryphian notices your disappointment and lightly nudges you to get your attention. A giant paw the size of your head drops 15 Sprockets into your palm. With a friendly grunt, the towering avian gives you a thumbs-up before lumbering off to another stall.

They may be a rare occurrence, needing the right conditions to create them, but any time you hear rumors of a meteorite falling to a planet’s surface, you’re quick to teleport there before other scavengers. This time you’ve gotten lucky, as small glowing shards of star fragments, named for their ethereal twinkle, are present strewn about the impact site where heat-met-rock-met-surface.
