Nice, but what about the "CS times"? That article on CS journals is strange to have in this, considering the CS times is up there, stickied, where everyone can see it. Anyways, I like it, but just pointing out how contradictory that is. XD

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the CS times on hiatus? :3 And there's always room for some friendly competition...

Yeah, it is. And I know there's nothing wrong with some friendly competition, I'm just saying it's contradictory to the article. I think I like this better than the times! XD

The CS Times is stickied, but it has also been on hiatus since October, and doesn't look like it's going to start back up. I've wanted to do this for a while now, and I think that it's a good idea, because now there's an active paper for people to read.

I know, I replied to an almost identical post right before yours. I, personally, agree with you, I'm just saying it's kind of ironic. I prefer this thread, I think it's nicer and more organized. Also, do you think you should do a "pet of the week/day/month/whatever"? XD

And that idea sounds fine, maybe once a month. Try not to make it too obvious (ie: sorbets, galaxies, jokers, etc.), and maybe instead of doing a vote (staff -may- see it as a kind of spam) look around the boards and see what pets are popular. OR. Instead, maybe you could do an 'outcome of the month' and see what outcome is most popular.
