question about pictures

how do I post a picture? I wanna put my kitty in my forum signature or in my trade settings area but im lost on how people do that.. (im on a MacBook!) thanks for any help!

you have to upload it to a website that hosts images first, and then paste in the link to the hosted image.

I want to add that imgur is blocked in the UK and while it is possible to use that for most people, any UK users will see a big giant obnoxious square instead of the image you want to display! I would recommend searching google for "Free image hosting" and you might find others besides imgur.
