Haunted Mansion Day Two - The Graveyard - Results!

The mansion, although antiquated and falling apart, is impressive to behold. You and Spice have almost forgotten about the party as you pour over the interior’s magnificent handiwork. The both of you spot a shelf simultaneously just ahead of you. While you are a little suspicious of the shelf, Spice finds it to look incredibly interesting and approaches it immediately. While investigating the shelf, he summons you over.

You both lean, and lean, and lean, and all too late, as you hear the sudden screeching of hidden hinges swinging, do you realise the pair of you have begun to fall.

The mechanisms hiding in the wall have caused what was previously a shelf to give way into a dingy slide that sends you and Spice plummeting lower and lower into total darkness. Cobwebs and dust splatter your face as you zoom downwards for what feels like forever before the soft thump of a pile of old scrappy fabric breaks your fall, sending a final wave of dust out into the dark as you land.

Before you stretches an endless network of cobblestone tunnels, only barely visible by the flickering light of torches mounted to the bricks. The stench of damp and moss hits your nose and you try your best not to scrunch up your face in disgust. Spice makes no such attempt to hide his distaste, and quickly brings a paw to his nose and mutters a few soft and low words that you can’t quite make out.

Your presence seems to have disturbed something more than the dust, though. It was quiet at first, but you can hear it clearly now, gaining volume quickly; angry, hissing whispers echoing through the halls and inside the walls. You quickly look around for the source of the noise, but it feels like whatever’s here is just out of sight.
The graveyard feels like a pleasant memory now- the only thing currently occupying your mind is to run, and quickly.
