Bolo wasn't expecting to be tagged this quickly. He had bounded off in a playful fashion but he supposed, in hindsight, he should have run a bit faster; a tackle later and now he was on his back, with a gold-and-brown she-wolf standing over him. Whereas he should have shown fear -- truthfully, he did feel a spark of shock and fright, as he was knocked unceremonially to the ground -- but weirdly enough, a crimson blush crept to his cheeks. A she-wolf. He'd never ever been this close to a she-wolf, let alone a female, let alone even brushed pelts with them. He'd always thought, in some distant thoughts of his, that it would be nice to have a mate and have pups and such...but he never really knew how to approach wolves, especially those of the opposite gender. It felt awkward. Or maybe, he was just the awkward one.

State your intentions, loner. She didn't sound too threatening, and certainly didn't look like she was going to kill him, but he was in a compromising position here. What were his intentions? Why was he here in the first place?

...Oh yeah.

"Can I join your pack?" Bolo squeaked, moving his paws to shield his snout in case she'd feel like attacking, not even considering if she was actually part of the pack he'd smelled nearby. Well, he assumed so, she was the first wolf he'd come across in this menagerie of scents. Maybe it wasn't the right thing to say.

Fantasme blinked in shock, she hadn't expected such an answer from a loner. Fantasme noticed the awkward gaze the wolf gave her and abruptly released him, worried she was blocking his airway. It surprised the fae that the wolf hadn't so much as attempted to struggle or wriggle free from her grasp. " I suppose that would be a question you would have to address with our leader" she said, gazing over her shoulder.
