Daniel looked back and saw a glimpse of an outline. A little child clutching Ali's hand as she ran down the hallways. He smiled, knowing she was as sane as anyone. She was right. She was better than ever.

Zara stood groggily. She was strangely sad and solemn. Feeling in an okay moon she kept seeing James and his father replaying in her mind. There was something about that smile and the way he laughed that she had never heard before.

Ali ran into Doctor Smiley's office in a bit to big of a hurry to knock "Sir!" she shouted, pausing at the doorway when she saw the angery look on the Doctor's face, today just didn't seem to be his day. "May I help you Ali?" he asked dryly, rubbing his temples, his head felt like it was about to explode. "Yes you can. Do you know the limits of my abilities?" Ali asked, creeping a little closer, the boy cowered behind her, only peeking out a little he seemed afraid of Doctor Smiley. "No, we don't know the limits of your ability and that is why your here." he groaned, sitting down in his desk chair and just wanting to get to the point of what Ali wanted to say, why couldn't the girl spit it out already? "I'm able to talk to the dead... would I be able to bring them back?" she asked, knowing the stupidity of the question and it's almost enevitable answer, she just thought she could try. Doctor Smiley stood up abruptly, sending his chair rocketing back into the wall "Bring the dead back to life... I might just be possible." His eyes grew wide as he dreamed the idea before him; he the scientist that had discovered reserection, it would be amazing, he wouldn't be trapped in this whole anymore, he would be famouse. "Why do you ask anyway?" Ali bit her lip, here came the crazy test "There is a little boy here is name is..." "Mark." the childs voice said, still not able to be heard by anyone but her. "His name is Mark and I want to help him, he's only a little kid." she pleaded. She waited for Doctor Smileys reply but he only kept trypling through his shelves, searching for something. He eventually returned with an ancient leather bound book "I don't know if it will work but you can try, tell me if it works." he said, handing Ali the book, she looked down at the huge thing, her eyes wide... this was going to be fun, but she would do anything to help Mark, like he had said they were the same.

James
Zara was gone too quick for him to say anything. He considered following her but he knew that this was something that she had to do herself. When she had stood up he had noticed a change in her attitude. The smiling, crazy (in a good way) Zara he had met just an hour earlier seemed to have turned into a scared, frantic Zara as soon as she lost her focus. He wondered for the first time how real her dreams really where. She had mentioned something to the effect of that but he hadn't really considered it until now. She must have a hard life! He thought while picking at his salad. Just thinking about going through the day with images piled in your head made him feel like taking out his frustration on someone. He knew that just sitting there was getting nothing accomplished so he got up, threw his trash away and walked back toward Dr. Smiley's office, his usual lingering spot. Hoping for someone to pass by who would care to listen to him.

Zara walked out of her room, lingering in the doorway. She started thinking of the song "Imaginary" by Evanescence. It was a more beautiful way to put dreaming. She almost wished she could have such a peaceful world all her own. Wind whispering stories, rain falling slowly. If there were any rain where her world was to be. If only she could make this place real, not just a thought. A real dreamland, not just a forming plan. There she would be with James forever.

"James." Zara whispered the name.

(Obsessing over the song "Imaginary" right now and listening to "Clocks" by Coldplay. It makes the perfect background music for this. XD)

(Listening to 'Out To Play' by Kimberly Freeman. Right now it's at a part where it's just like that 'ahhh' soft voices in the background. Kinda weird yet fitting...)

James
He was mentally kicking himself for even bringing up the subject of the asylum. He was at Smiley's sooner than expected and the door was ajar. He was curious what was going on in there so he started watching what he could through the crack and listening carefully. He recognized a girls voice. If he recalled correctly her name was Alli. And then of course the Doctor. Smiley was freaking out about a ghost or something. He picked up enough of the conversation to learn that they where trying to bring some ghost back from the dead. It was quite a sight to see Dr. Smiley so excited about something. Especially when it included one of them.

Zara sighed, making up her mind. She had barged out of the room before James even had the chance to speak. It was rude and uncalled for. She went to make amends with him and say sorry for her behavior. She searched for him carefully, unsure as to whether he had gone to his room or not. She knew not where his room was anyway, so she decided just to walk around until she found him.

"You had rabbits!?" Odysseus almost shouted, then caught himself and buried his hands in his face in embarrassment. "I'm sorry," he mumbled, hands still in face, "I just really like rabbits..." Odysseus took a deep breath and tried to clear most of the red from his face. "It's nice to meet you Madi... Madi, what a nice name... I'm sorry, was there something you wanted?"

I giggled at his excitement. "No, not really. And, yeah, I had rabbits. They were Mini Rex. I had Macho, Zala, Witch, Cash, Whiskey, Starfish, Lotus, Juliette, Peewee, Landshark, Cybil, Bebe, Tropic Charm, Polo, Blow, Tinsley, Avery, Ke$ha (wth my sister named my rabbits?!), Uprising (Lawl party...), Smash, Virgo, Cannibal, Crusher, Paisley, Lover, Sky, Red Alert, and 7 unnamed babies. So 34 rabbits... my younger brother had 3 Holland Lops and 1 of his does was pregnant-" My voice cut off. My brother...

He kept walking, feeling odd. Suddenly, he turned into his bed room and sat on the bed shakily.
