how dare anyone gas wolf pups, for us that'd be like gasing our babies.. i wish more people could see it that way

A mother wolf waits alone under the stars and the moon,
With a new barrier, life’s evil, dark dare.
She gazes into the foggy eyes of her forever resting baby,
Trying to hold her hopes of no sorrow, no despair.

But her powerless pup lies breathless in the flowers,
A she-beast tries to hold back her sudden fears.
As her pup's fluffy fur blows freely in the wind,
The mother begins to shower her baby with tears.
"Finding faults with a person's happiness only leads to a fallen snowman, France." ~Russia.
"PASTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" ~Italy.

Who's gassing wolf cubs? Hunters use guns, not gas. Not to mention hunting season is after wolf cubs are well able to fend for themselves.

Nice poem, however that is fantasy, not real life.

thanks, im glad you enjoyed the poem. The main person who wrote this topic was saying how federal people were trying to get permission to gas pups. and my poem may seem like a fantasy, since i talked abouthow the mother wolf was crying with tears.. but knowing much about wolves, they go through a tramatic emotional experiance when a family member dies. It is even known for a mother to barry her young if they die before they are of age to leave the den for the first time

Rarely will a wolf bury a dead packmate or family member, no matter what age or relationship.
Often times they'll put leaves or dirt over the carcus but more often then not, they'll just leave it there. It isn't natural behavior for a wild animal to bury the dead, unless they're saving food for later.
Wolves do feel grief though. They will visit the body and show mourning for the loss but will recover.

So far, research has only shown that mankind and Indian Elephants can shed tears when distressed. Wolves and dogs (along with every other kind of animal) have not shown any signs of shedding tears while in pain. They do have tear ducts though. Which are mostly used for protecting their eyes.
Very busy with work and what not, sorry for my absence from RPs

Lying in the long grass
Close beside her
Giving her the name
Of the one the moon loves
This will be the day she
Will remember
When she knew his heart

That is most likely a false 'fact', as if someone hears about 'sumthin happnd 2 da wulfs??11!?!' it spreads faster than weeds.

Links? Post your sources of the 'bury her young' part.
