Vincent smiled back at Atome, the smile not reaching his eyes. He shrugged and replied "Why not." He looked at Atome, and then took a few steps forward, and hugged her. He whispered in her ear "Thank you." Then let go, and backed up a bit.

Atome just stood there for a few seconds, staring at him. Why was he thanking her? She smiled suddenly and pulled on his hand. "Let's go then silly." She walked back to the festival, her head held higher than normal when people turned to look. She didn't feel threatened anymore for some reason. As she approached where her and Kero had agreed to meet, she looked around for him. She spotted him leaning against a wall, his golden eyes closed thoughtfully. She reached up slowly and put her hand on his shoulder, hoping everything was alright.

Kero had been thinking to himself the whole time she was gone. His chest still felt funny, and he didn't like it. For some reason his mind couldn't focus on doing bad things around her, and it was making it harder on his current mission. Maybe he would join her and the other trainer... No that wasn't going to work. Not that he wouldn't be able to put up the facade of a normal trainer long enough. He shook his head. This girl affected him in a weird way, and he didn't trust himself or his actions. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder and he opened his eyes, glancing to see Atome next to him, worry in her eyes. She was worried about him? They had just met, so how did that work? He shrugged it off and smiled at her, his eyes lighting up. "Atome...." He hugged her, noting her sharp intake of breath.

Vincent noticed Kero hug Atome, and felt a bit jealous. He just stayed behind her, and his eyes deepened. He never thought the two of them had gone so far, and it took Vincent so long to just be able to hug her, or even to be near her. He helped her with her "All men are evil" problem, and helped her to get used to being in crowds. A small frown came across his face, but he stayed silent. He looked away from the two of them, and a quick thought came across his mind. I'm only a friend to her, nothing else. Nothing else.... He sighed. He wanted to help her some more; He really did, but he wasn't sure about the situation between Atome and Kero. He wanted to run away from that scene, his legs were ready for action. But he stayed put. He didn't want to run from Atome, and be alone; Again. Plus he told all of his pokemon to stay with Atome. He also still didn't like the feeling of Kero; Still. He didn't know what to say, he stayed silent, almost as if he was hidden in the shadows.

Aerith looked around, her Kimono slightly blowing in the wind. She saw Kero hugging someone, and almost screamed at him, but kept silent. She sent out her Toxicroak, and leaned down by it's face. She said quietly "Go remind Kero of or mission here." She watched as her Toxicroak waddled up to Kero, and stayed by his side. He then croaked, a sickly sounding croak, and gave Kero a punch in the side of the knee. He then looked up at Kero, a face of innocence plastered onto his sickly looking face.

Atome froze when he hugged her, then pushed at his chest lightly. She had just met him and he was hugging her? It was strange, but it didn't creep her out like it normally would have. She noticed a toxicroak suddenly hit him and she glared down at the pokemon. With a tap to his pokeball, Blaze came out in a blinding flash of light. She narrowed her eyes at the offending pokemon and opened her mouth but Kero stopped her. "It's alright, I know this pokemon." And with that he shooed it off. Atome turned to Vincent. "So, ready to get whipped in some fair games?" A mean smile went across her face and she taunted him. "Or are you too scare cause you'll lose to a girl?"

Kero glared at the pokemon who had hit him, and looked up to see Aerith staring at him with a smug look on her face. He narrowed his eyes and gave a little nod of his head, then turned back to Atome and Vincent. "So, which game do you want to play first." He was still looking over his shoulder to see what Aerith was up to.

Toxicroak croaked again, and hopped off, going back to Aerith. She patted it's head gently, and returned it. She then mouthed the words to Kero "Get sidetracked again, and Aggron will be next." She meant, next to hit Kero. She hoped he understood. She then sent out her Aggron as a warning. She glared at Kero, almost as if to say "Get the job done."

Vincent then got shaken out of his solemn state when Atome began speaking. A devious smile spread across his lips and he replied "You're on."

Atome smiled and walked to the counter, getting three darts for each of them. "The one to pop the most balloons, wins?" Kero looked at her with a smirk as he picked up his darts. "Win what?" She thought for a moment, and shrugged. "Idunno, winner's choice I suppose?" She gave a goofy smile and turned her palms up. Blaze was growling, and she didn't know why. She looked around and saw a trainer with an Aggron who seemed to be glaring at them. Well, not at them, at Kero. He release his own pokemon, a beautiful silver Ninetails.

Kero had watched Aerith, and just shook his head. She didn't order him around, no one did and no one would. He turned his back pointedly on her when she released her next pokemon. He was going to get his plan done, he was just gonna do it his own way. In a bright flash of light he released his silver Ninetails, who turned to glare at the Aggron. "Good girl Hailey, watch 'em. They come too close then melt that hunk of steal." The pokemon purred in acknowledgment. "Nineeee..."

Vincent picked up the dart's, and was about to throw them, but paused. He offered politely "Ladies first?" He stepped out of the way. He watched then, as the silver ninetails appeared before them. He stared down at the ninetails, and then his houndoom began to growl. He lightly kicked his side, as a warning. His houndoom looked up at him, a puppy dog face looked up at him. Vincent sighed slightly, and suddenly felt his Milotic nudge his hand. He looked back, and noticed that his Milotic was uncomfortable around the ninetails. He stroked her head gently, which seemed to calm her down.

Aerith looked back at Kero, and her eyes narrowed. She continued to walk around, looking at the festival in curiosity.
