Requiring Mods Approval despite first post being approved?

Postby SpyXMaster » Wed Oct 01, 2025 1:48 pm

Even though it’s been a week, it still seems that every single post I try to post here requires mod approval, and looking at the site rules, as long as your first post is approved, you shouldn’t require any mod approval? I also decided not to post for a day or 2 and wait it out to see if any previous posts weren’t pending, and once I made sure of this, I posted yet it still required mods approval. Also, it seems that through previous posts on this topic, mainly posts with images required mods approval, but for me, I can’t seem to post anything in general (texts, emojis, images etc.)

I’m wondering if I did anything wrong or if it’s a new security measure and I’ll have to wait a while? The last post on this topic was around July this year so I understand if things have changed by then. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi! I plan to come back once in a while to check, adopt a few pets, and just chill! I am mostly focused on studies due to my passion of becoming a doctor, though feel free to dm me here if you'd like and I'll reply asap!!
(During exam times, I plan to use an appblocker (XD) so I get of all my social media sites, so if you don't hear a response from me, that's why! :3)

Hi there, everyone's first post does need to be approved, but for newer users all posts with images in them will also need to be approved, as you noticed. Additionally, if you currently have any posts waiting for approval, it will mean that any subsequent posts also need to be approved, even if they don't include images or anything of that like. Its really intended to stop spam bots and the like, but I understand its a bit annoying for new players.

The best way to avoid needing approval would just be to avoid posting images from outside sources (image hosted on CS shouldn't need approval, so things like pet and item images, etc) until that 'new user' period expires.
