how do i bump my art shop?

i dont want to spam it also i did look at the FAQ post and did see the bump section however i do not see the bump button at all unless i am just Not looking hard enough. i dont want to spam my post w bump messages as i want it be concise. is there a way to bump without posting or am i not supposed to bump at all? thank you,,

You can get chicken smoothie assistant (a browser extension) which shows you when it's safe to bump it along with giving you a bump button on your "my posts" section! This extension also allows you to edit the message the bot posts for you :]



Occasionally a bump button pops up on the bottom of the page alongside the subscribe and bookmark topic buttons, but I don't... actually know the requirements for that to pop up lol
I don't pay enough attention to the forums to know that, to me it just feels like a rare creature that almost never shows it's head.
Maybe this button is all in the head though, I honestly can barely tell as I almost never see it.

Other than that, checking it's location on the forum itself to see if it's fallen off the first page yet before posting a "Bump!" reply to the post is a safe bet and what a lot do without having the extension.

The bot mentioned above just makes a post for you, so unless you can't be bothered to make the bump post yourself it isn't really necessary.

The only way to bump without making a post is if the topic has not been posted on for at least 6 hours, a 'bump' option will show up on the bar under the thread;

However this only shows up once, then another post has to be made + another 6 hours will no posts for it to show up again.

Some users if they do not want there to be a bunch of bump posts on their topic will limit it to just one bump post by deleting the previous bump post before making a new one. As long as the last post on the topic is yours you can delete it, but if anyone else posts after you than you won't be able to delete your previous replies on the topic yourself.

Just keep in mind to not bump unless your topic has fallen off the first page of that board (and deleting your previous bump to make it look like it fell off the first page of the board when it didn't isn't allowed, its fine to delete previous bumps just keep in mind its not a freebie to just bump whenever you want)
