npc - Shoe
Donning her colorful mask, Shoe felt like an imposter walking into the masquerade ball. So many fancy and noble folk around her, and she but a humble woodworker. How she came to find herself among such a crowd was beyond her. But she was determined to make the most of it, or her name wasn't Shoe! Once she stepped into the east atrium, the sound of lively music and the atmosphere of joy enveloped her. She fearlessly made her way onto the dance floor, dancing to her heart's content! Sure, her moves and steps were far from the graceful sweeps of the others, but if there was one thing Shoe knew it was that peasant folk always had the better dances. They could look down on her all they liked, but she knew she was having more fun than them!

After and hour or two dancing until her feet ached, Shoe luxuriated in the cooling fresh air of the gardens. It was wonderful to take a moment to catch her breath, a stitch in her side aching with her inhale. The gardens were beautiful - this was an undeniable fact. There were plants she had never seen before in her life, colorful blooms and interesting shrubs. Fountains and well manicured hedges - it truly was an exquisite menagerie of all things flora. Removing her mask but for a moment, Shoe almost wished the night would never end.

mask design: Seraphina chose to wear a mask that would fit with her pretty looks. She has a soft, sweeping half mask that curves upward like a butterfly wings. It covers only her eyes and upper face. It's translucent, mother of pearl like with faint irisdecence that shifts between coral pink and sea foam green. It has small details. Filigree patterns curling outward like kelp. Tiny gems accents set at the edges, pale opals glowing faintly like they are being kissed by the stars. Coral petals that softly frames her eyes. Silk coral ribbons tie behind her flowing mane, disappearing seamlessly.

I might draw the mask too but idk if I would be able to give it justice. It just looks so beautiful in my mind and idk if I can show that in a drawing

response: The strings of the waltz was just starting as Elias arrived at the ball. He quickly steps towards the Grand Hall in order to find a dance partner and he hopes he can make pleasantries as they dance to find who else is keen to talk! It is only proper to take a turn out in the gardens after to appreciate the horticulturalists. You aren't worth a dime if you can't even manage rose bushes.
